Timely and there is a powerful message hid behind the jokes.

"Julio and Sister and Nephew" opens with Julio asking the Sanfords to take in his older sister Carlotta (Miriam Colon) and her son Roberto (Manuel Carrasco) for one day because she's allergic to his goat Chico. Fred pretends he has a disease to try to keep them out: "the creeping cucarachas!" Once Carlotta makes her presence felt cooking and cleaning Fred becomes more amiable, while Roberto impresses him with his business acumen: "you know, you got a good head on your shoulders, you wanna see it on the floor?" Trouble arises when Roberto's trouble with English keeps him from advancing to the sixth grade. In persuading the principal (Graham Brown) to bend the rules a little Fred winds up with a new occupation, as school crossing guard.
