The Barracuda moves over
kevinolzak14 December 2016
"The Return of the Barracuda" opens with Lamont rather than Fred watching television with Melvin (Slappy White, fourth of five), while his father spends the evening in lover's lane with Donna Harris (Lynn Hamilton's second appearance). Once Fred returns home with his engagement on again, Lamont implores the divorced Melvin to share his story: "Melvin ain't no one woman man, he like to play the field" "and that's bad when you marry a woman who like to play the field also, and the bleachers, the grandstand, the parking lot!" This time Lamont chooses to fight fire with fire by getting married himself: "for every man there's a woman" "and for every dummy there's a dummy, dummy!" (Beverly Hope Atkinson plays Lamont's girl Sheila Monroe, returning in "Tyranny, Thy Name is Grady"). The Barracuda doesn't quite get her hooks in but she'll be back.
