"Tower Power" begins in the museum, where tour guide Sandra (Janee Michelle) explains the artistry behind the sculptures, inspiring Fred to start banging out his own creation in the junkyard (Lester Fletcher familiar from "The Piano Movers"). By building a legacy he figures to become 'immoral!' Grady figures that the finished product has already made an impression: "all the dogs in the neighborhood are just tickled to death!" The artist gives his work a fancy title: "The Fred G. Sanford Memorial Tower and Private Park and Historic Landmark and Forest!" Lamont gives it a different name: "a shapeless, formless, meaningless piece of nothing!" "son, don't be so hard on yourself!" Only when Sandra offers her honest critique does he realize the error of his ways. The final shot has Lamont fulfilling his artistic desires by painting his father's portrait, dressed as Whistler's Mother!
