Geraldine is super excited when Simon returns to Dibley, Hugo and Alice are back, with some gorgeous news.
After almost two years, the show returned, picking up straight after Hugo and Alice's wedding.
It would have been worth the wait, as it's a really funny episode, I can remember taping this one onto VHS, and watching it several times over.
It features some of the show's funniest moments, the puddle, the ice cream, and of course the meeting with the external interruptions, a scene that genuinely has me belly laughing.
I've always been of the opinion that the best comedy shows have a tinge of sadness to them, it's that contrast that makes the difference, and this episode has that, Geraldine it messed about by Simon quite badly.
