Ash and friends discover a mother and daughter who train Mareep, and must help them defend against Team Rocket...
You can skip this episode. Nothing memorable happens, the lesson of "take care of your Pokemon, don't push them too hard" is well-worn by this point, and the characters of the day are very generic; the daughter who thinks she's old enough to battle and the mother who doesn't think she's ready. The whole episode, the daughter, Mary wants to enter into the upcoming festival, but we only get to see a glimpse of it at the end.
Having the girl named "Mary" does give them the Mary Had a Little Lamb joke, and to the show's credit, they don't milk it like you'd think they would. That joke and Mareep getting supercharged are the only parts of this episode worth your time.
