A great double pairing

'Dying for Pie' is terrific. It's one of my favourites. The plot is really interesting and very profound at times. SpongeBob and Squidward are a classic comedy double act and Squidward's characterisation is very strong. The animation is not as on-model in 'Imitation Krabs' and some of the backgrounds look amateurish in comparison but there are still a lot of fun character expressions and the animation in the final scenes is the episode's best.

'Imitation Krabs' has a plot just as fun as 'Dying for Pie', but better art and animation. I love how Squidward sees through Plankton's disguise but takes the day off anyway. I don't know why a "hick town like Bikini Bottom" has a national anthem, but it's a good idea anyway. I also find it hilarious that Mr. Krabs can chase a penny for six and a half hours.

In conclusion, a great pairing of episodes that I never get tired of watching.

Imitation krabs is a funny episode but we're here to talk about dying for pie, just the grief and thought of squidward during the episode is masterful SpongeBob is blissfully unaware that he is (supposed to) blow up and squidward just feels so bad for making his day like this, this is the bond we miss in newer SpongeBob the symbolic meaning and true fate of actually what is to come and that squidward and his friendship with SpongeBob is true if you look at whobob what pants squidward doesn't even care!

These two are great episodes of SpongeBob SqaurePants.

Dying for Pie-Mr. Krabs forces Squidward to give SpongeBob a gift. Squidward buys him a "pie" from a group of pirates, but soon figures out that it was a bomb and believes that SpongeBob has until sunset to live. This episode had very good writing and was pretty funny. My favorite part was when Squidward built a brick wall around SpongeBob and himself to watch the sunset.9/10 Imitation Krabs- Plankton creates a robotic Mr. Krabs in order to steal the secret formula. His disguise fools SpongeBob(Squidward can see that it's obviously not Mr. Krabs, but decides to do what he sees because Plankton gave him the day off), who then takes Imitation Krabs and Mr. Krabs to a life-treating game show. This episode had one of the best plots. My favorite scene was when Plankton's disguise explodes after SpongeBob put a penny inside of one his slots! 9.5/10

Two of my favorite episodes of SpongeBob and just classics of Nickelodeon itself.

Welp, this a spoilery. But I just lmao'ed at the ending of Dying for Pie. It was engaging from beginning to end too btw but didn't think of the end part!!!

Solid and Great Episode

The episode was full of memes, fun moments, and iconic scenes. Dying for Pie show us that Squidward still have a heart and feelings for Sponge Bob and the explosion scene was so iconic. I love the compilation of things that both Squidward and Spongebob did. Imitation Krabs was also fun to watch not boring and not meh neither. Plankton failed to captured the secret formula was really good and this is just a blue print for the next episodes to happen and to come. Overall the 2 segments are great and produced stellar scripts, scenes, and iconic moments. I will give this 10/10 because of Dying for Pie.
