Patty is confronted by her parents about evading them when asked to do something. Martin says the solution is to take the same energy avoiding doing things into doing things. She agrees to transform into "Can Do Patty" and begins enjoying the mindset. Patty volunteers for a difficult treasurer position at a club at school, and volunteers to organize another club. Most of the work is being done by Cathy, however. Meanwhile, at school, a campaign is being formed to make Patty "student of the year".
