Lynde isn't remembered too well today but I'm sure if you grew up watching The Hollywood Squares then you will know who he is. The actor never really became what he wanted to be, which is explained here and also explains why he turned to alcohol and other things. For the most part this is an entertaining episode that has interviews with journalists as well as some people who knew him. They certainly paint a rather sad picture of a broken man who never seemed to be happy at any point of his life.
