This is a very simple animated cartoon with interesting graphics. It all begins with a guy showing up in the jungle (you assume it's Africa but could be in the Pacific as well). Here, in the middle of no where, he begins pulling out all kinds of things--hats, records, makeup and clothes. The natives are dressed in animal hides and bones in their noses and they have nothing like the White man has brought--nor do they especially need it. However, the natives go nuts for this new stuff and when the man opens up a shot, the chief is the first in line and the rest of his people MUST have everything...NOW! And so, they go on a buying rampage. Then, after the dust clears, there is a clever ending you'll just have to see for yourself.
Overall, a very simple and entertaining Russian film that can be seen and enjoyed by just about anyone, as it has no dialog and the message is universal.
