No saddled with political correctness here.

Wilma (Jean Vander Pyl) and Betty (Bea Benaderet) share equally the screen time with Fred (Alan Reed) and Barney (Mel Blanc) which is highly unusual for the series up to now. The lack of political correctness in classic TV is really glaring compared to today's TV.

Judo instructor Mr Hakimoto is hilariously done by Mel Blanc with heavy voice inflection stereotypes. The Flintstones and Rubble's all even do a buck teeth pose with their accents. You'd never see that today. Alan Reed does the voice of the dimwiited dolt prowler's voice. Alan Reed's repertoire of amazing voices is really showcased in the series as well as the other three main actors. Some great inconsistencies in the episode. Fred struggling to get in the Rubble's bedroom window needing a high ladder. Then later he hops right in to a much lower window. Barney's one sometimes two seater car is now a four-seater. Front doors to the Flintstones and Rubble's homes sometimes are there and sometimes our doorless.

Judo Lessons

A prowler is in the neighborhood, so Wilma and Betty take judo lessons. Barney approves but Fred does not.

A very funny episode. Mel Blanc provides the voice for judo instructor, Prof. Rockimoto. Fred disguises himself as the prowler to show Barney that women can't defend themselves. The real prowler shows up the same night. Both Wilma and Betty use judo on Fred and the prowler. Funny scenes of them using judo yells like "AZI TAKI HA!' Everybody goes for lessons at the end.
