Millie a b!
tert7222 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Few things wrong with this episode...... Big cracks appear and not a single kid or teacher notices it, until it collapses... A single teacher does not have the authority to close steam tunnels as more than likely they belong to the state.... Mention that a student needs the laptop "super computer" rather than using it for fbi purposes..... In what world is a laptop, any laptop a super computer? I kinda like this show, but every week it gets more and more of a stretch.

No Millie Please!

The beginning premise is very good. The dumping of toxic waste and a deadly sinkhole forming. Many issues are brought forward, including the high powered character in the big construction company. Children have been damaged and a woman dies. On the other hand we have the introduction of Millie whatever who now heads the combines science and math departments and has been cast as a romantic partner for Alan. She is caustic and demanding and shortsighted.

Bizarre episode.

Warning: Spoilers
I have a problem with this episode. Millie is introduced in this episode. IMO annoying to nth degree. She tries to supercede Charlie working with the FBI. Then she seals the steam tunnels. Which I don't think she can. She is not head of the university. You find out Larry is living in the steam tunnels. His whole character is bizarre. Should have had another character and no Millie.

toxic numbers

I'm sure this program will not do anything to eliminate toxic dumping in the usa, yet alone california ... the writers have no idea how large this problem is and touch lightly on it ... it could take a season of episodes to even approach the magnitude of the crisis ...blech
