Bill has now left the hospital, he very quickly realises that everyone in the local area is blind, everyone that watched that amazing event has lost their eyesight.
Part one very much sets the scene, this second part brings us the real horror. This is packed full of terror and atmosphere, it is very unsettling.
The scenario the man sets is pretty terrifying he explains how bad things are going to get, and there is a real sense of reality, people going frantic for scraps of food. There is however, something nasty waiting.
So nasty the way that people try to take hold of those that can see, very sinister.
The scenes of an empty London look amazing, I am reminded of Dr Who's Dalek invasion of Earth, the scenes are equally great.
There was something about The BBC in the 1980's, they really did manage to scare everyone to death, dramas such as this and Threads remain terrifying.
Sets the scene well, with the real horror only just around the corner.
As with the first episode, this second one, impressive. 9/10.
