Playboy model formerly embroiled in a highly- publicized rape charge against fallen televangelist Jim Bakker, Jessica Hahn, appears as Miss Taylor, Ryan's teacher, in this episode. She is Jack's unlikely date, well, after Jennie anyone would be a step up, but buxom Miss Taylor is oh so out of his league. Of course, the date is doomed to go wrong, you don't need a Spoiler Alert for that one, you'd know. Not that Ryan minds that everybody in the school is going to know how his Dad struck out, "Don't worry, Dad, I'm gonna drop out anyway."
Unfortunately, the doomed date is not shown, we only hear commentary afterwards on what happened. But I would not complain too much. This show is one of my favorites, sorely missed in my DVD collection, due to its unavailability.
