Before I read that this film earned a 2nd place in a 48 hour film maker's competition, I was ready to give it a score of 7. However, knowing that it was filmed, edited and completed in less than two days, it seems more deserving of an 8 as well as a "wow"!
A guy is talking on his cellphone while he's driving. It seems that in the divorce settlement he's talking over with his lawyer that he's losing just about everything. However, he's not paying attention and accidentally hits a homeless lady in the street. His concern is not her but that his car is okay! She threatens to call the police unless he drives her to the hospital. This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
An excellent story, direction and acting make this an enjoyable little comedy. Judging by the results, I would expect even better things from these folks in the future.
