A faithful remake of My Cousin Vinnie, with a touch of Marathi Cinema complete with the stammering lawyer and the hot girlfriend, who has been waiting to get married and has a "ticking biological clock". The performances are all good. All in all a largely funny movie, with a bit of "change the world" intent. The movie does differ in Keshav Kunthalgirikar going to prison in the end, which doesn't happen in the original. The character of Neha does provide some comic relief. The movie offers some really funny and really marathi laughs, which a non native speaker of marathi might not really get. Arun Nalawade (of "Shwaas" fame) also plays a small role.

My Cousin Vinny

I had watched this movie as a kid but didn't realised it was a copy of the movie My Cousin Vinny. I really enjoyed the movie but after watching my cousin Vinny this looks nothing before that especially the role of Marisa Tomei, I mean this role won her an Oscar for a reason. Really fun movie though being a copy this movie is a great entertainer for marathi audiences most of whom who haven't watched My cousin Vinny yet.
Comparing to the original is futile as Vinny is a masterpiece but this movie stands strong on itself with a great acting by Makrand anaspure saheb. He keeps the show going................
