Excellent

Accurately described how Democrat President FDR, and Democrat President Truman and U.S.S.R. Socialist Stalin caused the Events that would lead to the Korean War.

The U.S in less than 30 minutes without any input from any Koreans would draw a line on a map, the 38 Parallel, dividing North and South Korea. The U.S. installed a South Korean Leader, the U.S.S.R. installed a North Korean Leader.

Explains what the Democrat Presidents did to make the U.S. Military Non Mission Capable, while the U.S.S.R. and China increased their Military Strength to seize other Nations thru Military Force.

"Repeat the Same Mistakes and Expect Different Results" as the Democrat Presidents once again did what the previous Democrat Presidents did to enable the Korean War, as the Cause of the Democrats demanded "Save the Democracy of the Republic of South Vietnam War.

I would have Rated this a 10, if they would not have kept saying Democracy, as the U.S. is not a Democracy per U.S. Constitution, and Amendments see Article 4 Section 4 "A Republican Form of Government", the Republic of South Korea was NEVER a Democracy nor Constitutional Democracy either. South Korea was the Republic of South Korea, then a South Korean Military Dictatorship, then and now the Republic of South Korea again.

Uncomfortable history
mccollum2627 July 2022
Korea had been a Chinese subject for thousands of years despite their claim being independent.

After US libereated Korea from Japanese occupasion, they use Korea as a pawn to succeed their agenda, yet Korea was too weak to have a choice. This unfortunate country never had a strong leader until President Park when the country finally turned around using what US confisticated from Japanese businesses whom they kicked out empty handed.

With their single-minded drive to prosperity, these hard-working, devoted people achieved modern day economic miracle, while their counterpart in North Korea got themselves into an opposite situation. It seeme it's a matter of time they'd collapse.

However, it's recent history is rather discouraging. A series of communist sympathizing presidents have been secretly aiding North Korea including the last president. He put his extremely friendly poicy into action, send millions of dollars in aid every year and changed school curriculum teaching all the tragedy are caused by Japanese, not North Korea.

I wish the truth be taught and this documentary gives me a glimps of hope. Because the fact won't change no matter how much lies and propaganda are fabricated.

Excellent Background on Korea

Been to Korea many times. This documentary does an excellent job explaining how Korea was split in two and what happened in the second half of the 20th century. It fills in a lot of holes. Highly recommended.
