It was okay
wolfordcheyenne21 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The main problem I had with this episode was the Kaia subplot. I understand the writers and directors wanting to tie up loose ends, but it felt like a waste of an episode. We're over halfway through the season and I expected more. However, I did like how Chuck was destroying the other worlds in order to "get back to basics". Also the actress who played Merle was flat. This episode wasn't bad, but it could've been much better. I hope next weeks episode makes up for it.

Not the best filler episode
Kingslaay8 May 2020
Had hoped for more but we got an average episode. SPN brought back an irrelevant side character whose story never made a splash to begin with. Out of all the characters why did they bring Kaia back? Especially in the last season. A waste of an episode that never went anywhere. No heavy hitters besides the core cast and Billie. The reaper who was supposed to be looking after Jack was unimpressive and looked like belonged at a bridge game or knitting club instead. No big movements or breakthroughs in the story.

A good filler episode?
Adam-0926517 March 2020
We have waited nearly 2 months for the next instalment and i'm going to try my best to keep this spoiler free, it was mediocre but not awful. Wasn't groundbreaking, epic nor full of conclusion to the main plot, but that doesn't make it bad. Kaia's return was a little random and as explained in earlier reviews for this Season this is becoming a problem, why bring back these sub-plot characters at all?

At least the boys are back to what they do best, hunting and helping even if it is for a small time, with a few tweaks and twizzles along the way. The flash back to earlier seasons shows the writers kept to their roots on this, this was always the plan from the start, that bit was connective to the plot so i give a thumbs up for that.

I noticed that Jack looks puzzled half of the time, always the confused expression. I suppose in this episode he just wanted to do the right thing, and have a good heart at that.

Chuck's ideas are getting more morbid by the second, as seen in this episode his actions had a lot of conclusive visuals, great cinematically but maybe a little overkill for still several episodes to go, it made it all look vague. Decent in some cases though.

Edit: I changed my review completely, watched the episode a second time.

There is no other Death, but Julian Richings.

Please, bring him back. At least for the last episode. "Billy" is painfully bad.

As for the rest of the episode... Well, pointless. By the most part.

Good episode, best season in a while

Warning: Spoilers
Great episode. Give the writers a lot of credit. Even though Im a fan, Ive always believed that from a story telling perspective, the show peaked in S5. Since then there have been great moments but I never felt the excitement and intrigue I had when I first heard the pagan gods talk about how they resented the Judeo-Christian gods or when Death himself talked about reaping God. So the choice to finally abandon the brother soap opera and just address all the real questions that made this show truly interesting makes the show feel necessary and planned out again just like the old days.

Crossover wold
sailor_julia17 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Very good episode! The best part it follows the story of the CW DC crossover. Let me explain, in the last crossover of it was about multiverses ending. Here it follows the story god who is on earth 2 (supergirl world) is killing the worlds where all Sam and dean are alive. We suppose it's before the DC crossover. We also learn that's the boys are on OURS earth don't know which one. Earth prime I suppose. Now they have to save the world, by killing God The multiverses (just that) and of courses keeping the family business! So yes it was a awesome episode!!

Okay episode
hazardjsimpson28 March 2020
It was okay...kind of slow and a lot of exposition. Yadira Guevara-Prip has to be the worst actress I have ever seen, tho. She really brings a 'couldn't get into the high school play so I made this movie at home' kind of quality to the show.

Galaxy Brain

Well I loved the episode and I'll stick up for it. The Jody-Kaia reunion scene made me sniffle a little. And I think the idea that Chuck is ending all the other universes is important for the plot; it wasn't all filler.

The bad place
shwetafabm17 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I really liked the whole bad place thing, but the resolution into it was so easy, the place was scary and it didn't even get any attention and dark Kaia's motivations don't really make sense. I liked how they wrapped up the storyline atleast and i liked the God part but um now there are temporary spells that can make it so God won't know, how can God not know Jack is back, isn't he omnipotent and all knowing?

To the people whining about Cas: Pay attention
rajibalam-0679823 October 2020
The episode was good. They ended a storyline and God destroying other worlds make sense. This was a good build up episode.

However, in many reviews of many episodes, I have seen a lot of people complain about Cas not having powers and they seem to find no reason. There is a reason and if you paid attention, maybe you could remember. First of all, he can't zap around or fly from here to there, because the all the angels' wings are broken (not archangel). Secondly, he is not as powerful as he was because even though he got his own grace back, it was only the the leftover after Metatron's spell.

Okay episode
ladygreyheart8 April 2021
The episode was okay. I liked Kaia & was disappointed that she didn't have more screen time over the past seasons.

To the cretins whinging about "President Hillary Clinton", get over yourself. Even IF the writers wanted to mention Donnie John; they probably would have had to pay for the displeasure of mentioning his name. Donnie John wants MONEY & based on current events, he NEEDS money.

Why waste am entire episode?
brandyjirik19 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I've been a massive SPN lover since the very beginning, super sad about this last season. WHY did they waste an entire episode about Kia?!We've got a limited amount of time left and we got an episode about a character noone cares about. Not happy.

this isn't spn's best season
sarajimi1 April 2020
I'm watching from the beginning and have just made it into season 7 so jumping between that and season 15 is jarring. this episode was a glaring reminder of how far the show has diverged from it's original style and become a soap opera. maybe it will come into play later but i saw no reason for them to bring kaia back other than to try to tie up as many loose ends as possible before the final episode., which they can't possibly do so why not just give us more of the winchester brothers we started with.

A little disappointing tbh
jagborpapsyket17 March 2020
To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the New episode after this long wait. I didn't really get why they would revive an old subplot from several seasons ago and focus on those characters when there are only a few episodes of the show left. Don't get me wrong, I liked kaya and her actress who plays both roles really well, but I would rather have seen more of the main characters and their relationships and how they deal with the fact that Jack is back.

Hit the ground
Aries_Primal9 April 2020
This season hit the ground so far!

First Cas lost his power somewhere back then, no logical explanation why he didn't get them back, now same happened with Jack... And on top of it God is a bad character trying to kill everybody? SERIOUSLY? I thought the leviatan season was stupid, then the one with Darkness kicked it's ass, but this is new level of idiotism! Not only offence to a whole religion, this is absolutely out of any logic! So boys used to fight mythical creatures from the legends, then some new made up monsters, and now god?

I remember how I was waiting for the next episode first few seasons, I loved the show so much. Now this is just a joke with the story, characters, actors and on top of it with us fans, who support already 15 years! Just give us a nice ending and quit that agony!

A Waste
Faith00510 January 2021
I dont understand the high ratings. It was clear this season that the writers have already given up. I dont know what show I just watched but this is not Supernatural. Everything is just so dumb. Plotlines after plotlines gets dumber and dumber and characters are no longer working within the personalities built over the years. So many things are just so bad and corny. The way they made the villain in this season is not even worthy being the ultimate villain of this whole show. Any of the worst and lamest monster of the week from seasons 1 to 5 is much better than the villain this whole season. Yech.

not good
katertator2720 March 2020
I'm ready. let this show die. the actress that plays billie - terrible actress; the actress that played merle - way worse. such forced interactions. billie likes to take dramatic pauses between words and they're obnoxious. so many plot holes, old, dead story lines... undeveloped stories. the only good part was same giving his little speech about doing the stupid but right thing and it feeling good.

Boring
juansantos_vb26 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Clearly Kaia was death but now it supposed to be alive by a herb? Well it's supernatural but that look a video game health item.

Anyway... the episode it's pointless. Tried to fix the mistake of killing kaia. By bringing kaia from another universe. And now exchange the original kaia by the impostor. I never liked that character the original and the second from another world. They're selfish, useless, a very extra filling in the season.

Not worth the watch.
jcarter-4573724 August 2020
Didn't feel like this episode went anywhere at all. Funniest part about this episode is the liberal leftist rights wrote "president Hillary Clinton" 😂😂 and "USA rejoined the Paris agreement" made me laugh. Only in their wildest fantasy lol
