We don't care about Maggie's FBI girlfriend's interoffice drama. She and Maggie have no chemistry. Maggie had more chemistry with random hookups last season. Maggie and Hourglass Man cat-and-mouse scenes started off good, but ended dumb. The methodical Hourglass Man left his powerful hourglass in his coat pocket with Maggie in a room, as he exits momentarily. Huh?! A dark, fascinating villain, Hourglass Man is quickly killed off, yet one-trick pony Bing Partridge is still alive. He suddenly pops up at the end of the episode. If this show was real horror: 1. At the bar, the Hourglass Man would've used his power to make Maggie confess her true intentions for coming to Providence Hotel, lead her to a room and kill her. 2. As Manx's facial scar healed, Wayne would've transformed into a bloodthirsty soulless monster with sharp teeth, like every kid before him in the Wraith. How did he only lose one tooth, see his dead Dad and keep his humanity?! 3. Bing Partridge would not suddenly jump out of thin air to attack his hero Mr. Manx and disable the Wraith. It's lazy writing to buy Vic some time to rescue Wayne, slow down his vampiric transformation while he keeps his human form. Once a horror/fantasy series gets predictable and the main cast is always safe, it's boring. I'll pass. This is my last episode.
