Warning: Spoilers
We start the episode with Opal at school with chicken pox. Allie is the only other student who has had it so Elizabeth dismisses class for everyone to go home. Doctor Carson tells Elizabeth to keep little Jack inside for a couple of days so that he won't be exposed. Rosemary confesses that she's never had chicken pox and unfortunately ends up catching it. Nathan and Lucas go put out a warning for the outbreak and have an exchange about their feelings for "the town."

Meanwhile, Gowen Petroleum is being sued for low grade oil. Bill, who is the town judge, decides there will be a trial and tries to round up a jury. It's very funny to see everyone's reactions to being a part of a jury. Henry Gowen asks Nathan if he can help him. Nathan does some research and finds out that the other company was falsifying reports as a grudge against Gowen. The case is closed and no jury is needed. Florence is disappointed but Ned Yost is as happy as a clam.

Rosemary starts to run a very dangerously high fever. As Faith awaits her stage coach, Elizabeth bursts into the infirmary asking Faith for her help with Rosemary. Lee picks up doctor Carson and they head back to Lee's house. After examination, Carson believes that they need to do submersion therapy on Rosie- basically an ice bath! Thankfully, Rosie wakes up and her fever is breaking. What a sweet moment between Lee and Rosemary.

Faith had originally missed her stage to the train station but Carson finds a way for her to make it to Chicago after all. We end the episode with Faith waving goodbye to her friends and neighbors.

I really love the chemistry between the couples. It was an emotional episode and I was genuinely curious if Gowen was still a bad guy or not. I'm still not completely convinced at this point.
