The screening of this movie was really interesting. Once again, I was finding myself across the atlantic ocean and finding out about the radical history of South-East France. This movie traces the story of the MLAC collective of Aix-en-Provence, part of the underground birth-giving and abortion network during the year abortion was legalised. the movie is interesting because it follows a group who decided to keep doing what they knew how to do, and not give up their bodies to specialists. In the end, they are put to trial for giving medical care without holding a medical doctor title, and are followed up to the courhouse by an amazing demonstration of supportive crowd.
