Non-stop adrenaline-rush crime-drama following the story of a Silicon Valley founder who returns to Mexico, a Mexican farmer who wants to get in the US and an El Paso detective.

Great but NOT THE G. O. A. T.

Bad news for Surviving The Cartel fans. It is fake news that Surviving The Cartel is the greatest series ever. Flash news,it's not. That honor still belongs to Breaking Bad, which remains the G. O. A. T. In fact, on that list of the greatest series ever, this show is not among the top 5.

Like an all time classic album, but can't give a 10.

I learned about this show through a social media ad. First, I was skeptical as this show is independent and only available on pay-per-view. But the trailer was so intense and the plot seemed so original that I had to watch it. After binging all 5 episodes in one night, all I can say is WOW!!! I'm a woman in my 40s and I am hooked on a Cartel show. I can't believe it. The story, the plot, the dialogue, the direction, the acting, the music are so well executed that it blows my mind.

Sometimes finding a good TV series is hard, very very hard. It's always more of the same, with same or different actors. I am glad this one came about. It was refreshing to watch something so different and unique. I hope the creator Ely Bams never stops writing for Film and Television. Can't wait for season 2 and can't wait for Bams' next project.

Magnificent, outstanding, and original.

Surviving the Cartel is a magnificent, outstanding, and completely original television series that is filled with fantastic character development. It's like someone said ... Let's take a Silicon Valley guy, a grieving Mexican farmer, and a detective. Let's make it authentic, add a few cartel stuff and pit good against evil in a morally gray area. Also, let's make it slightly more complicated so people will need to figure a few of the details out.

In my opinion this is a phenomenal show with phenomenal characters, and a phenomenal story. Of course, it is not perfect, and it's absolutely NOT the best show of all time. But I recommend it to anyone. In my opinion, the acting is great. The show is about survival and the actions humans take to survive the drug business and its consequences. Why 7? Because I don't like the subtitles and you have them all the time in this show.

The best and one of the greatest series of all time in TV history. Surviving the Cartel is a unique experience. I am not a huge fan of crime dramas and started watching this on a whim. This series still managed to keep me hooked for its entire run.

I've watched a lot of TV, movies, etc. But this is the best. You can watch it all. Surviving the Cartel is by far the best show I have ever seen. This series has twists and turns throughout, and can get incredibly intense.

Surviving The Cartel had me at the edge of my couch all night...Great plot, great actors, this is just plain GREAT. I called all my friends 30 min into it. That alone had them wondering how amazing it must be considering I'm not a fan of Tv narcos type of Tv Shows.

The only show I feel sometimes touches the bar of this pure excellence. The plot is well-written, the acting is great, and the action is consistent and intense. Due to the fact it contains many characters and subplots, you will have to watch it with attention and put your phone on silent.

It's real and uncompromising - it portrays and attacks every level of our actual society. From immigration, racisme, to prostitution and human struggle.

So good.

I liked the way it depicted the bleakness of the drug world and its realism was first class. So good and the most amazing storyline and acting. Never could I get bored of any of the episodes. The acting is probably the best of any TV show I've ever seen and I think that's why the show is so good.

I know that has been said by pretty much everyone that has seen this show but it's true. Surviving the Cartel is the best because of its acting, its writing, its competent creator and writer and the cinematography is just amazing.

Watched it 3 times with the same amount of excitement.

I have watched exactly 63 TV shows in the past 15 years. I keep a track of every show I watch with notes. Many of them I had finished and a few were boring I was unable to finish. I finished Surviving the Cartel 3 times, with literally the same amount of excitement each time but I can't give a 10 because I think 10 is for a perfect show like Breaking Bad. This is a good show but it's not perfect.

Nearly perfect, but not quite. Still excellent and worth watching again.

Just finished watching it for the second time and I can't believe how brilliant it was. It's really hard to express the brilliance. But, I don't like the subtitles style. Hope they fix it in the upcoming seasons.

"Surviving the Cartel" is possibly the best TV show ever made. This show is by far the best show from what is currently streamed on those big streaming platforms. It has great acting and didn't fail to surprise and shock me. It's addictive and beautiful. Season 2? Season 2? Will it be season 2?

This is the smartest show ever made, so well written. The writing, the directing, and the acting, all is perfectly done. The ultimate drama tv show for sure. So, while we have got a stellar cast and in fact they do speak Spanish but some are speaking broken spanish.

You really should do yourself a favor and sit down to watch it because it is really a blast of a TV show. This program also deserves credit for attempting, within the scope of fiction, to seriously explore the dreadful state of Silicon Valley, capitalism, and Mexican drug cartels.

That's great!!! It's a great show. The story and screenplay are good. All lead actors did their jobs very well. It's not just a tv show it's an opportunity. An opportunity to witness greatness on screen? It's absolutely a must-see!

I like this show, but the second episode was not that good. I hope they make sure that all their future episodes in season 2 aren't like episode 2. Cause nothing is so sad as watching a good show die in a slow way. Good shows are rare !

I'm mid-season when I write this "review", and I am just mind blown. It's awesome! It's like a mix between Narcos, True Detective, and Breaking Bad. I guarantee it's as addictive as coke, the drug not the soda. LOL.
