The 73 crew finally get the rest they need.

In this episode, the crew of the 73 ask Binghamton for some leave since they have been out on patrol for weeks. Instead Binghamton sends the crew on a hike to toughen-up the sailors. Not too long down the road the crew comes up on an estate that belongs to the beautiful Contessa that happen to flee the area due to the war. The crew thinks that this is a nice place for them to throw a small party.

In the meantime, Binghamton and Harrigan are throwing a small party themselves. It seems that both are trying to lure General Bronson to attend their respective party. So now it has become a fight to see who, Binghamton or Harrigan, can have the party that the General wants to attend.

When words get to each Commander that there are light at the Contessa's estate, both have to go and try to get the female to attend their party. But it comes as a shock to both Binghamton and Harrigan when the Contessa turns out to be Ensign Parker.

This actually turned out to be a fairly nice episode. There is some good sparing between Binghamton and Harrigan which make for an enjoyable show. And the scene where Binghamton arrives at the Contessa's house was actually very well written and performed. The viewer was not expecting too much from this show but ended up with a nice watch. Good show.
