The formula for this season keeps surprising in unexpected ways. Even though it could be considered filler, this episode has a main theme consistent with the arc of the season and creates a scenario that plays out like a Harley Quinn-ified version of a classic Batman set up. Setting up Two-Face as the next big bad actually worked for me, despite him being the least engaging villain of the season thus far. This is Harley Quinn at its best. Really excited to see where the season goes in its back half. They better not kill Bane or I riot.

It was so good

One of the best episodes, maybe the best story wise.

They actually portrayed the start of Harleys fascination with the joker pretty believably, I have always wondered how it could've happened. Also the start of Harleys friendship with Ivy was a bonus. Overall a great episode.
This season keeps getting better

Despite the Batman-centered episode, which was mostly a filler, this episode shows the beginning of the overall narrative of the second season. Joker returns (though not how you'd expect), and the relationship between Harley and Ivy is developed through the flashbacks of Harley's first days at the Asylum. I am eager to see what the next episodes will bring.
Utter magic. How do they do this?

Mixing together the original story of Harley meeting Joker from Batman the Animated Series AND Heath Ledger's version of The Joker from The Dark Knight?! On top of that, adding in a new origin of how Harley and Ivy met while keeping the same goofy tone this show has perfected?
This should not work, but these creators are using some kind of unreal magic to make all of this work in perfect unison. They manage to skirt the edge between parody, reboot, and homage, all while making something so unique.
This episode might be the best one I've seen yet, and I don't say that lightly. It both takes itself so seriously while not caring about being serious. I don't know how they do it, but I am adoring every second of it!
