This has a really cool concept... *SPOILER ALERT*!!! The idea of having multiple, intersecting plot lines where all are affecting each other, but we only see one at a time, so some stuff only makes sense after you've seen the whole movie is a pretty sweet concept in and of itself (even though it has been done a few times), but the idea of doing it in a COMEDY??? That's really sweet. The only problem is, the execution is only so-so. It was funny, and there were some cool characters, but it could have held up better to all the promise it had. I'd love to see a reboot of it, just jumping in a little more with both feet. You know, maybe if it had just been a little clearer where the stories were intersecting, because on a second watching, it did get a little clearer, and made the movie a little cooler. All in all, great concept, some good stuff in it, a lot of smart movie humor, but fell a little short.

Okay, I want to preface this by saying that I'm a big movie buff... I don't know a lot about the "science" of it, and whatever, but I like movies and watch a lot, which is why this movie is so funny to me.
It's a movie about making movies, and the entire time it's joking about movies and making movies. One character speaks only in movie quotes, which sometimes is funny because of how well it works, and other times in even funnier because of how it doesn't *SPOILER* : "I don't even know who you are! Who are you?" "Who am I? I'm Spiderman!". Ridiculous.
They also send up movie clichés, from how they're written, to produced, to shot, and the kind of people who watch them... like me. Anyway, if you like movies and get the jokes they're making, you will love this movie. If you don't and don't get the jokes, you'll be like, "What did I just watch?" Which is what a couple of friends said. Officially no longer my friends. :)
