Meg's Wedding

Warning: Spoilers
They've done this storyline already, but not just the Meg stuff, the Peter storyline was brutal too.

Just another underwhelming Family Guy.

It was nice episode, could be even better without Peter's hands.

Basic, but solid basic

Absurdist animation, sympathy for Meg, self deprecation, and - at last - an episode free of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It's not one that you'll see in a clip-show, but that's the thing, once you've resorted to clip-shows, you've basically given up on producing quality new content.

This is... sufficient... which at this point is about all we can hope for from MacFarlane and his burned out, checked out team of writers.

A sweet and funny episode

Warning: Spoilers
I liked this episode. The new Family Guy episodes can be good sometimes. Like this one for example.

Meg falls in love with Bruce and are planned to get married. But it turns out Bruce is gay and he gets married to his boyfriend.

Second plot: Peter gets his arms ripped off and only has tiny hands now. And now he has to deal with it.

This episode is funny and sweet especially with Meg's plot. Meg is very likeable and is the best character in the episode. And Peter's tiny hand shenanigans are hilarious to me.

So whether you like the new Family Guy episodes or not, I recommend you watch some episodes like this one. Because I really enjoyed this one.

Meg deserves better

Sure it had a little twist that Meg is happy at the end, but the whole "s- on Meg" thing is far overplayed...I hope FG's finale is of Meg finally giving back everything she has put up with and actually ends up happy.

Amazing!

I am so happy with this episode. A lot of the jokes were old family guy and amazing. I started crying laughing when Peter started doing the macarena. Meg's plot wasn't too interesting but bearable with all of the jokes. The only good cutaway though was the first Peter one. I'm happy about the outcome of Meg's Wedding and loved the Peter parts. He just looked so funny. Love it!

No no no and no again! This episode was stupid, there was nothing funny, bring the old dark humor jokes to family guy, or just cancel the show!

So idiotic

FG is done. I'm starting to suspect that Seth has to pay the networks to air this garbage, it's so bad now.

I happened to watch the FG Star Wars episodes a few days ago - how refreshing to see the old genius of the writers, but how frustrating at the same time because it illustrates just how bad the current episodes are.

I can't watch another current ep, after this talentless offering. Talentless goofs

Still terrible.

Warning: Spoilers
In a previous episode, writers hinted that they wrote jokes for the episode two years ago ... And I'm inclined to believe them. This is the only explanation for the fact that even after the failed episodes, the general course does not change. The episodes of season 19 were made a long time ago, from that no one will make significant changes to them. I would understand if it was a show with high quality humor and animation ... But the humor (if you can call it that) is insipid, and the animation in Meg's Wedding is worse than in the first season, released twenty years ago. What happened? I gave this episode 2 stars because they mentioned a more or less relevant series - "Westworld". At this pace in ten years we will see jokes about "The Boys" and "Altered Carbon". Just kidding, Family Guy won't last that long

Best out of the season so far!

Warning: Spoilers
I have to say, this episode was the funniest one out of the season, and the plot was stable enough that the jokes landed well.

I have it at an 8/10 only because the plot with Meg falls flat in a few places, and also some moments seem to be forced out of no where (like Peter obtaining his little arms). Also when they reference something from IRL, it should flow better than just being rushed out of the blue.

But looking past that, this episode definitely deserves an 8 because I want to encourage the writers to keep up with this type of material.

The edgy humor based around homosexuality is well executed in my opinion, and the small arms skits with Peter throughout the episode we're hilarious (especially the Army piece!)

Once the storyline bumps through, it becomes a lot funnier, and overall I laughed at each appearance with Peter.

I do wish they continue with material like this, and can get a plot that is centered around the actual episode. Season 10-14 have a few episodes that really exemplify solid story structure.

Overall, good watch!

Pretty good

Last season in "Better Off Meg" I really liked the little moment between Meg and Bruce there so it was nice to see it expanded upon here, the Peter plot was really wholesome and funny, and the development Bruce got as a character was also solid, he feels like less of a joke character now, so cool

Lighthearted and For a Good Chuckle

Peters arms where the true star of the show, megs wedding almost being more of a b story. Tiny-armed peter was hilarious, and made to be overly positive and adorable. The "P-p-p-Peta" part was cute, i love the little details of him trying to roll up socks and using his chin, and the animators did a good job at bringing tons of life to peters design by giving him tiny arms. Additionally, tiny armed peter is more supportive and encouraging of his daughter, a side of peters character weve never seen before. And i loved the animation reel at the end.
