Olivier Marchal's trademark is everywhere here, in this gritty short story, which is in two parts. It is even better than Moulin series, because destined to specific audiences, no family ones. However that doesn't remove anything to the quallity of Moulin, already surprising for a garbage channel such as TF1. Back to this episode, we have convincing performances, especially from Marc Barbé, a terrific actor whom I, at long last, see here as a brutal gangster. I have always dreamed to see Marc Barbé as a gangster, he has the face for it. So far, he played violent men, but never hoodlums. In TROIS HUIT, he was terrific as a man who bullied another one - Gerald Laroche- in a factory.
