It was good but I hated how jake didn't get to arrest Francia it was really annoying I hope the next episodes. Are better.

Remembering Andre Braugher

Warning: Spoilers
I chuckled when Amy realized she wore shorts that said "WAP" which she explained as being "We All Police", which raised a wry smile amongst the police audience no doubt.
Anyway, I'm finally getting around to watching the final series of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, especially with the untimely and tragic death of Andre Braugher, who was the dramatic-comedic center of the series. It's very poignant seeing Andre display his mastery of comedy whilst maintaining poignancy and dignity as the series was wrapping up.
Anyway, I wonder if there will be a Brooklyn Nine-Nine reunion and how many of the cast will return.

Nice callback to earlier episode

This was another solid entry to the final season. It provides the viewers with an unexpected callback to an earlier season (S5E21) where Jake was talking about his "white whale" who has been taunting him for years with a deck of cards. "Looks like deuces are wild peralta!"
Brilliant writing and excellent story. It's nice to see Jake and Amy going through real parental issues, such as work/life balance.
The emotional acting from Andy Samberg is brilliant yet subtle, which gives a sense to the audience that he really cares for this show and this character's development.
Can't wait for next week!

This episode was amazing. The best part was seeing Jake and Amy parent for the first time in the show. Seeing them do parent things like picking up these kid from daycare, them getting little sleep, their kid getting lice, and Jake sacrificing a case at work to take care of his kid. It was just so cool to watch and it really puts into perspective how far this show has come. This episode was also funny, especially with Captain Holt living with Rosa, and them needing to go to Kevin's house. It was hilarious.
This was a great episode, I can't wait for next week!

One of the best episodes

The starting episode of this season was a disaster. That felt like something forced. It felt like it was designed to fulfill political as well as communal agendas. Thank god they moved away from that. Now they landed this episode 4, which is to me one of the funniest and one of the best episodes of B99. This episode reminded me why I started to love B99 in the first place. I will definitely miss this comedy masterpiece once its over.
Good episode.

This episode made me think. I loved it, but it's so different from the show I loved. Writers, pls stop being so political. It's getting kinda boring. Overall, I really liked the Jake and Amy storyline. It was very funny. The Rosa one was also good. But guys, I may have rated this 10 because I lirkd the episode but if the next episdode is like this, where Doug judy returns, I may rate it 5.
Episode where everything goes wrong for jake

It was a solid episode with two different goals for jake and amy but they are hurdled with various problem. My problem with this episode is they made the Johnny franzia story very enticing that I actually wanted to see that happen. It would have made a great episode. But the silver lining is jake had a chance to witness his child stand-up while Amy won at her presentation.
it could have been better

Rosa being Holt's buddy was never a thing that I bought on the show. I do not think that they have a great dynamic.
And why mentioning Holt sending a dick pic? I mean, it would have been funnier if he had sent something robotic to Kevin.
The writers are not very innovative.

A mediocre episode

I don't know what has happened to the writing here. I think making Jake and Amy parents was not great writing but what makes it worse is bringing the child into episode as a hurdle all the time. No one cares to see Amy and Jake as parents and worse be dragged down by their child. We know it's all not real and not necessary. We grew fond of the quirky characters and comedy in the precinct, this made the show great. We couldn't care less and don't need to see Jake and Amy pretending to be parents. We know what being an adult looks like so screen time does not need to be wasted on this futile story. I wonder if the writers went on a strike. Otherwise this is lazy writing. Even the jokes were not great between Amy and Jake. A weak and disappointing episode.
