I don't think he'll need a biopic, because he showed his entire life here. Some funny bits here and there, so touchy things. I loved it as performance.

Too serious !
rajaccie30 January 2022
Wait... was that stand up comedy ? Wish it was much lighter and comical. Too much seriousness this show . Have been a big fan of kapils tv shows ... he had such a good team of comedians . I'm a fan but this Netflix part was kinda slow ..
Good ol' Kapil

Nothing special or extraordinary but it was good to hear from him, especially about his personal life and past experiences. Some very cheeky humor in it but most importantly a good reminder that he still has it in him.
More heart-less funny

It's a weird combination but this was more of a okay ha ha funny and not hilariously funny. I did enjoy but please don't expect to get ROFL kind of vibe from it.
It does have a good heart, he talk about his family which was obvious from the trailer, but i do wish his jokes could have landed better.
Would have gone with 4 at best, but the 2 extra is for the overall vibe.

Kapil Sharma is the best entertainer.

Kapil Sharma is a great storyteller too
shilpiagrawal55529 January 2022
This standup special is Kapil Sharma's audio autobiography to some extent. He tells about a lot of elements of his personal life - he punches up to the government, talks about depression, talks about his childhood and initial days in theatre/music/comedy, talks about his father who passed away when he was 20-21 years old, his lovely story with his wife. He gets very emotional at times - could feel his raw emotions. I absolutely loved his emotional expression. This special is not exactly funny but emotional. It's funny in a way that audience laughs with him for his emotional story. I love his attitude of bouncing back. I love his philosophy. I love his personality. So, overall definitely a one time watch if you like emotional storytelling (how Zakir also does) :)
Rotary Club Talk

Disappointing. Writing is not upto mark. Jokes are few and far apart. Audience clapping for few mediocre jokes propping him when the jokes were falling flat. He is a funny guy on his show and he should stick to that since he is good with interviewing guests and coming up with one liners. Netflix is trying really hard to drum up subscribers and this is another of the last ditch efforts.
Genuine and light

As the first stand up comedy I have ever watched (and that too because it was Kapil's), it has been a a very heartful experience. Kapil has had a genuine and honest conversation with all of his viewers (live and Netflix). It is not a 'ROFL' performance, but a nice hour where you eventually connect with this guy. He has this unique way of sharing things and speaking. While we may have expected a full fledge overdoe of laughter because his brand is such, it was more of bringing a smile to our faces. He did that. At the end of the day, after the show ended, we did not realise that 1 hour had gone by. That was the magic. But, rightly said - I'm not done yet - More of Kapil please! :)
Average but still fun

I miss the real Kapil!
nikhilthemacho30 January 2022
This show has very few punch lines. I miss the real Kapil from GILC. Most of the jokes are falling flat. And the whole script is so trite! This is not a stand up act at all. He talks about his life journey and tries to fit jokes into it.
Even his political jokes fell short, probably did not want to offend the Italians!

Pure Cringe

I sat through 30 mins of this cr@p-show until I couldn't watch it anymore. The comedy is forced, clichéd and unintelligent, not the kind of content you want to watch on Netflix. There are many talented standup comics in India, sadly this guy is not one of them.
A sanitized attempt at being 'edgy'
sagarshares78543 February 2022
Kapil Sharma is a household name in India and even outside. His brand of comedy is an industry in itself and people love him."I'm not Done yet" is touted as the more risque Kapil Sharma, being able to say things he can't say on national TV. However,he doesn't want to break out of his super popular show's mould. He's not going all in here and that's definitely disappointing. Thus, this ends up being a good boy trying to say some bad things and being 'funny'. He doesn't want to hurt his image. It makes sense too since neither is Kapil hanging his boots nor is his show losing popularity. I feel if the timing of this Netflix special was better, this could've been a great show.
Pretty average at the end of the day and doesn't really deliver what it promises.

Stick to TV Kapil

When you watch Kapil Sharma I'm not done yet you will realise the difference between stand up comedians and TV show comedians.
Kapil Sharma is not a stand up comedian that 100% for sure, big fan of Kapil but his stand up was boring boring boring.

Certainly not done yet

This stand-up "I'm not done yet" was good, considering it was meant to watch with family, it didn't had too harsh jokes that will make you die laughing, just few normal punch lines. One thing that I liked about the show was his story telling, obviously we all have watched Kapil on his television show, but I was surprised to see this version of Kapil which totally different on Netflix. There were some instances where you can get emotional, because he talks about his life and his journey to become an artist in Mumbai, so humor wise I don't think it did very well(comparing it with his old jokes). He talks about his mental health and what happened in his childhood, it was a great piece of story telling which was fascinating and motivational, it taught us how we cope with setbacks. In the end he sang a song and dedicated it to his late father was the most emotional part of the show, and I think if this stand-up would be a success which I hope so, we would be seeing another of his special on Netflix anytime soon.
I hope you liked my review thank you for your time.

His life struggle till fame
aneezacharles28 January 2022
This show is more about his journey to fame than comedy. I don't think it suppose to be a comedy episode but to show how he became THE KAPIL SHARMA.
I throughly enjoyed this episode as many of us don't know what struggles did he go through in life to achieve and he is still not done yet.

I genuinely liked it
eemouk31 January 2022
It's not funniest stand-up show I've ever seen. The gags were decent but they weren't rib-ticklingly funny or anything like that but this thing had heart. That's what I liked about it.
Kapil is genuine, authentic and speaks with sincerity and that is what makes this show special. And there was a nice underlying moral message too, one that comes from his own deep struggle and reflection.

Underwhelming and unfunny!!
illumiinati28 January 2022
The format is similar to the stand ups Kapil usually does before his TV shows or at numerous award shows.. Only difference is his stand ups on TV or award shows are at-least funny.
In this Netflix original, he mostly speaks about his life experiences, his life before fame. Sad part, lot of it is already known. His frequent yet and not so subtle intended jibes at the prime minister and his infamous tweets are unfunny to start, that get annoying soon.
The story telling is good but none of the jokes land.
Well if Netflix is frustrated that it is not able to get record subscribers in India. Then the targeted audience too is frustrated that Netflix continues to churn Sub standard content. Start making something that connects to the common people, the majority india that lives in small towns.

anushkakapilfan28 January 2022
Now this is Called COMEDY, Without using any type of abusive language without disrespecting any Religion or Anybody. He has Taken The Jokes on himself Only! Just Pure Comedy. Full Family content! Really Loved it Soo Soo Much!! And the song was Just so soo Adorable..!! Love you Sharma Ji!
Comedy + Vulgarity
devanshjain-9076729 January 2022
I loved all his jokes about politicians and situations in the country. I didn't like all alcohol related things that he spoke. He was great as ever in the jokes but Netflix touch on his performance looked quite bad because it is not a hidden fact Netflix tries to add vulgar in their content.
That PM over This PM: TOO FUNNY!
aekansh-5048730 January 2022
If a person chooses to glorify our previous PM (who might have done some good deeds) but mostly had his tenure filled with scams and corruption, over the current PM (not taking sides) and blaming him for corruption throughout the show, you can label him as a comedian. Well done! Otherwise, this was not a standup comedy but an oral autobiography which was told in his own signature way. Enjoyed it but didn't laugh a lot. Hope you achieve more, Kapil. You've made us all laugh with TKSS and hope you continue doing this and stay healthy!
P. S.: Don't bring politics to comedy. There's a reason why they aren't mixed.

Decently funny
surajkailase30 January 2022
A decently funny tv special from Kapil Sharma. We are watching him from many years as a comedian and I can say that this wasn't his best. But because of this we come to know many insights of his life as well and also some reasons to his controversies from the past from himself.
Not good at all
