And the cherry on top is the filmography, when craig begs for his faith to be rewarded. The camera is still, putting everything behind him immensely out of focus. Showing this down on his luck man begging and screaming for just a smidge to start off his business and to save him.
And when it cuts to him in the back of the car, with a face of pure defeat. You feel gut wrenched.
