Strong ending, some quibbles resolved

The showrunners undid what was, in my opinion, one of (if not the) biggest wasted opportunities of the book series (I won't spoil it outright, but if you read the books, I think you can guess.) Some of the issues I had earlier in the season (of particular concern was how Alex would be motivated to follow some of the plot points set out in the books/the obvious choice of the next book to adapt for a potential season 3, which I felt was undermined by how little he interacted by a key player in his decision to follow that path) were mitigated by this change. I'm waiting on tenterhooks for a third season, I hope this is renewed!

(That being said, the other changes made from the source material was a mixed bag for me, and there were a few weaker spots. All in all, I enjoyed it. I think they improved on season 1, which I also enjoyed.)

Strong season.

I enjoyed this finale and second run of the show. I appreciated the dark, bleak settings and themes since the first season. Everything is kind of depressing. Which is good, unlike other teen movies. Otto Farrant gives another great performance. One criticism is the character of Tom Harris. I know he's essential in the books, but he has to go. Hopefully he gets killed off in the next season.

I still think this Alex Rider show is a bit stretched at eight episodes a time, leading to some pacing issues/slower episodes, but when it gets all the right characters in the right place, and it ups the ante it can be a very good programme indeed.

I thought this was action packed, I thought it was engaging, I thought it toed the line of venturing into being far-fetched well.

There's no doubt that the budget is being spent well, and the amount of talent on show here was great.

I hope that they are able to build on the popularity and make more episodes before Farrant starts to show his age in the role.

Stick the landing...

The ending is what I could have ask for. The main problem with Cray was resolved and of course to give room for the next season, they had to have to give us hints and possible clues that will be the focus for the next season. The ending left me mindblown and I want more! I'm pretty sure season 3 is now on its way.

Good solid series

Entertaining and solid 2nd season with good production values and skilled storyline pacing. Acting is generally good with a few exceptions. Relationships between main characters is developing thoughtfully and no doubt with shocks to come. Looking forward to 3rd season.

Can't wait for the season 3

I loved how they mixed the stories and focused on scorpia story ,It would be great if they add more action scenes in season 3 because it's mostly about scorpia.

Scoobie-doobie-doo

A weird mix of Scoobie-Doo and a die hard spoof. It's entertaining enough, but a LOT of coincidence has to occur for the story to take place.

I'm baffled that the US President has a British accent. The show clearly had a large budget. They could at least hire an American actor or get someone that pulls off an American accent.
