Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • When Bobbie sees that her father hasn't taken his clothes with him, she worries that he may be dead. Her mother assures him that he isn't and will return 'someday'.
  • Bobbie sees a newspaper article revealing that her father is in prison and not away on business. She confronts her mother over it and is furious with her for not telling her the truth. Mother is equally distressed and it's implied that she didn't know how to tell the children what really happened.
  • When Father returns at the end after his name has been cleared, Bobbie runs to hug him and starts crying. This scene is quite emotional.
