I loved "Always, Lola", and will definitely watch again.
The writing was authentic. The conversations and interactions were so believable. The writer was able to take characters that might seem unrelated, and create such sincere moments of connections around a tough topic, mental health. Delightfully, the seriousness content of the movie was matched with a funny and upbeat feel, which left me wanting more.
The actors brought their own personalities and ideas to the characters. The ensemble nature of this cast made was so well done- there was no stand out performance, as every actor was necessary and incredibly poignant to watch. I recommend!
