Decent Finale to a Fairly Mediocre Season
MamadNobari9727 December 2021
This episode tied every loose decently, even though I still expected more scenes with Maria Sofia, especially in the end. It's kinda underwhelming it ended this way though. If you compare this to the older season's finales, it's nowhere near the brilliantness of them, but it's still a decent one in respect of this season's quality.

The whole season was kinda predictable and wasn't as hilarious as the previous seasons, but this finale was definitely hilarious at times, especially the ending.

Even though I knew they were gonna go this route, I didn't expect the twist with Vindman and it was really funny.

I think the charm of this show was that they had no real script and improved all their lines, and that was what made this show so special and unique. But this season especially, I don't if they dropped the improv(which I doubt) or they added more script and lines. It just doesn't feel like the brilliant older seasons. I just hope if Larry is gonna do another season, he gets better ideas. I don't think they're running out of ideas, just that the ideas they're coming up with are not that interesting. Which I hope he makes more seasons, because this is not the Series' Finale I want.

Epic Stunt-Casting
davidallenhansford3 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
An okay ending to an okay season. I liked Leon's story arc about the trip. Tracy Ullman is always a treat. The stunt casting of American hero Col. Vindman, a man for whom loyalty to his country "trumps" all else, was brilliant. LD reached a new low with the shoe heist. Assuming he doesn't drown, I'm eager for next season.

Episode 11-10
bobcobb30128 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Look, we're all just going to have to accept Larry's political bias. Take that and the Vindman stuff aside and this was actually a solid episode. This show's best days are long behind it, but there were still plenty of funny lines here.

Cue The Misspelled, Grammatically Incoherent Red Swarm
Omar_McNulty3 January 2022
A great finale to a triumphant return to the series, and it even had the added benefit of triggering a buncha republicans who have the unbridled audacity and lack of information to call Vindman a traitor. Amazing. 10/10.

Pure brilliance.
dstetler-7360927 December 2021
Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good. Not a huge fan of this particular Season, but LD nailed it here. Vintage irreverence combined with cringeworthy scenarios and a genuinely surprising cameo.

One of the best season finales

Absolutely hilarious!!!! And the surprise cameo did just that make it over the top. I had tears from laughing so hard. Pure brilliance. Bravo Larry, you did it again!!

Multi-layered comedy
glgabrielsen24 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, I'm not American. I don't care for neither of the political parties there and am horrified by the partisanship in the USA. However, i loved this episode, and how so many elements where brought together. And how can anyone criticize LD for being "too political" in an episode where he literally steals the shoes of a Holocaust victim just because he needed some shoes because it was raining? And Tracy Ullman!!

Disappointed
metsnfins29 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Nothing was resolved. The Mary Ferguson ending was great but the episode was truly rushed. The shoes were too obvious. The episode had good moments, but as a season finale it fell quite short.

A Curb Ending
spartin727 December 2021
This episode just felt so...CURB! Everything carefully planned, and the final scene(go watch it what are you waiting for) really made it. I really liked this season(although I haven't seen many other episodes), despite popular opinion.

Vindman!
jakoboskarheidars27 December 2021
Does Hollywood seriously expect people to believe that this Vindman is a hero?

But thanks for exposing him completely since it is obvious now that he testified with promises of fame and fortune so Vindman or Vindbag who is the least charming person ever be seen on television screen is a traitor to his county.

Good show overall love curb and Larry is the goat.

Leon in the "different bed". This was enough for a 10 from me. And the proposal for putting some highway miles in Susie's v. Hope Larry has a few more in him.

Mediocre Finale for a Mediocre Season
rogfulace14 January 2022
Season 10 wasn't that particularly funny, and Season 11 keeps it up by having only a few jokes I chuckled at through the entire time. I think the overall plot was weak and they must've thought it too because there's a lot of side stuff that had nothing to do with the central storyline.

I didn't know this was the season finale until looking it up because it doesn't really feel one - I had to look up who Colonel Vindman was, but that didn't make this episode any funnier because Larry was doing the same Trump jokes that were being made 4-5 years prior by everyone from SNL to Family Guy to South Park (all shows that are equally out of/running out of steam,) as well as a lazy Mormon joke that's been made numerous times before about having multiple wives and enjoying all of them, which seemed completely out of character for LD.

The sideplot with Leon finding a Mary Ferguson, although drawn out, was probably the highlight of this season and Leon himself gets some comeuppance in this episode - besides that, it was just not that funny.

Finally, a great episode for this season!
celakipp3 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It took all season, but Curb finally gave us a great episode, by far the best of season 11. What is more "Larry" than Larry appropriating a pair of shoes from a Holocaust exhibit? And his "perfect" phone call? I'm sure some will be offended but, if you are, you really shouldn't be watching this show.

The best season finale of all time?
mnhertz26-818-89512828 December 2021
My friends and I are already quoting this episode multiple times per day. That's the sign of strong comedy imo. Plus, the entire season was wrapped up nicely in this episode.

I can't say it's the strongest season of all time, but definitely one of the strongest finales.

Emmy Worthy

Hands down, the absolute best episode ever! This season was easily my favorite and I've watched every season. Every writer deserves consideration for an Emmy.

The knot is not tied. Gave it a 10 for love of the series.
coleektorrd28 December 2021
It was thoroughly enjoyable, but it didn't tie up Loose Ends the way it could have. It was all over the place. Gave it a 10 because I love the series. My favorite episode of the season was the watermelon. Had me LMAO! Looking forward to the next season.

Why does it have to end like this?
Devil99627 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Dissapointing season finale. Quite depressing. Why does Larry have to suffer all the time? Can't he win sometimes? Whole season was weak, not as good as previous seasons. It was more like Season 1. I don't know why are they "playing safe", it's very boring. There were only few good moments in season as whole.

I can't believe Larry jumped the shark
lehman-94-76031928 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
One of the longest storylines in recent years ended so badly, or even worse, somehow didn't end and left open the frightening possibility that it would continue. This is such a historically good show and being fair, this storyline has been historically awful. Please do better, there is nothing wrong with "happy," endings.

Melancholic end to a melancholic season
fernando_barduchi7 January 2022
The whole premise of this season was very bad, and this finale really was in the same tone.

I got more interested on the plot of "Young Larry" than this season.

lost in TDS
rdmceagles28 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This season has been so lackluster. I used to laugh at least once in every episode but now find it very hard to even crack a smile. Suzy is still my favorite character but even she has lost her bite. David's TDS is on full display in the finale having that "whistleblower" heresay conman on as a hero doing a talk at a Holocaust museum was just sickening. And even in Larry world where anything goes who would steal shoes from a Holocaust museum...EVER????? Maybe time for HBO to put this to bed and move on and try and find something funnier to broadcast.

Bad end to mediocre season
chris-r-copeland28 December 2021
I love pretty much all things Larry David, so it brings me no pleasure to say that this was by far the worst end to a very mediocre season.

First off the season was based on a terrible terrible premise that I don't want to ruin, but its just depressing and sad.

By the end of the season they are not just getting into divisive politics that are completely based on political opinion, but also getting into complete religious bigotry against Mormons..

I am no Mormon, but straight up lying about a religion to make fun of them isn't something that is funny.

The Dumbest woke episode.

I do love Larry, but jamming the anti Trump general in the episode was such cringe. The episode could have been so much better with literally any other author.

Not that good. Way too political.
tp-255275 January 2022
This was probably the worst episode of them all, in the worst season of them all. Larry David had to go there, trying to make a hero out of Vindman. Way a dumb way to finish off a season, which ranks last of them all in my book. JB Smooth is a being used by Larry David as a complete stereotype in every episode and not in a good way. He was embarrassing to say the least. Hopefully, this is it for this show, Larry David has lost the magic, clearly.

One of the worse episode of the whole show
Ropiel27 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Obvious, filled with woke/political agenda and a toned done Larry in stupid unbelievable situations

Overall this was hands down the worst season and i hope they won't continue

A shame because this was my favourite comedy show at some point but like Seinfeld it started getting really flat towards the end.

Shame.

Steps in a turd before meeting one, priceless!
Armor_of_God10 January 2022
Per usual, the left has zero self awareness. Self hating LD's subconscious surfaces as he steps in a dog turd before meeting real life turd in the punch bowl. Low T, Beta Soy-Cuck Boy Vindman is a bad actor on TV and a "bad actor" in real life. Thanks for the unintended chuckles.

I mainly watch these clowns to remind myself how thankful I am to bear no resemblance to them.
