There was some laughter bit also some serious scenes. I teared up with the kid ventilator scene! Seeing how the neighbors helped each other was nice to see. This show keeps me coming back. I appreciate that it's not a fully serious show all the time. I love the comedy they add. That alpaca scene was hilarious.

A Funny, Emotional Episode

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was surprisingly solid in a lot of ways. One reason was that we look into a lot of the main character's struggles, like Maddie's struggle as a parent, and Eddie worried about starting a family. I thought these were done in a good way. The emergencies were all pretty good, and the one with the murdering alpacas was just bonkers, a little too bonkers for this show in particular. The subplot with Athena was also pretty good, and the cliffhanger was great. The episode was also really funny at times, making me laugh and chuckle.
Overall, it's a little bonkers, but it's emotional, action packed, and hilarious, everything I want in 9-1-1.

It's already a 10 Star for me.

I've only gotten to the heartwarming part where May rallies neighbors to help and I'm so impressed. Having Corinne Massiah as a new 911 operator on this show was a brilliant move and to keep the actress on the show and be able to progress her storyline to boot.
9-1-1 can't really do wrong as far as I'm concerned but this move is a definite winning move. If you're not watching this action packed show then you're really missing out. When other shows need to cycle through 6-10 episodes to produce a really explosive episode, this shows gives its viewers action and crazy and amazing and heartfelt every single week.

It doesn't have the same suspense on it's second episode but it's still enjoyable and fun.
They promoted the blackout to look like its focused more on the zoo😭 when it turns out to be just a 5 minute scene with not a lot of injured people.
BUDDIE SCENE finally.

Just what I needed. This was so funny. I really enjoy this show. The animals and actors reactions were so good. I really have enjoyed it. Yes this could happen and it is cyber security month too. Good timing. Looking forward to more episodes like this.

We got the Buckley-Diaz family. They own my whole heart and i'm more than ready for them to make it official.
So glad Lou is alive. I really like the guy.
I loved the zoo animals part and Buck's rambling.
Oh Maddie.
And oh my it could not get more awkward than when we have Ana around. Only one more episode please.
Wasn't so sure about Ravi, but the way the show uses this character i really don't mind.
I cannot wait for next weeks episode.

Too unbelievable

Athena's story line is great in this episode but the rest is over the top unbelievable. Especially the Maddie and baby scene. You'd think that a nurse/9-1-1 operator and paramedic father would have a proper baby bath.
What the F?

After the first episode I thought this season might be better. Wrong.
Don't tell Athena would not have checked/gloated the Rapist was back behind bars. 5 days???
Fire crews sent out as animal control and yet They all went Back to Station as soon as an injured guy was rescued ???? Animals still all over the place.
Non breathing kid. Would have been quicker to wheel him than set up an electric network.
I wish my Other half would find this as ridiculous as I do.

I don't like this season. Absolutely ridiculous for a tv series like 9-1-1. You don't have any roles in this show that can even barely show the capability of fighting against the Crime Genius: because it isn't like CSI, and the experience of watching the previous four seasons told me that 9-1-1 is supposed to be a Drama, a TV series that's about paramedics and firefighters and police officers helping people and their life stories. The more I cried for Buck walking old "red" through the lined up saluting firefighters, the more I admired Hen's perseverance and diligence in life, study and work, the more I emphasized with Chimney's family experience and how he lived his own sensational lives, the more I HATED this new season where an freaking EINSTEIN in crime presented and ruined the whole TV series by not showing how brilliant he is, while outsmarting all the lawyers and police officers, and lacks the ability to fly a drone properly. This season also deliberately shows the stupidity and ignorance of the law enforcements and the illogical behaviors of'em. To make all these sounds reasonable, it created a systematic black out that turns LA into a post-nuclear war anarchist city. Hope things will turn to its right track in the following episodes: I don't want to see Mr. Hudson Einstein survived til the end of the NEXT SEASON like he is Pablo Escobar in Narcos. All in all, if you want to have a high IQ criminal in a TV show, you'll need a Will Graham, or a Sherlock Holmes.
