Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) and Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will plan a wedding.
In Salem, all weddings seem to have a crasher, complication, or secret exposure. So, with Maggie continuing to be duped by Konstantin, could there be an unexpected guest?
Could that person be none other than Konstantin’s allegedly dead daughter, Catharina Meleounis (Ellie Patrikios)?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Konstantin Meleounis’ Revenge
Dool spoilers reveal that Konstantin wants revenge for the sins of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). Konstantin is using Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) but also has his own separate scheme on Maggie.
Even though there are so many red flags, Maggie is grieving. Maggie is also admittingly very lonely without Victor.
The normal Maggie would recognize Konstantin’s scheme right off the bat. However, this is a grieving Maggie we are seeing… and she isn’t seeing things very clearly at the moment.

Who was The Pawn on Days of our Lives? That’s a question many fans are asking as a blast from the past keeps popping up on the hit Peacock show.
The Pawn has become one hot topic on Days since Konstantin (John Kapelos) was kidnapped by John (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve (Stephen Nichols).
During that incident, Konstantin saw something in John that reminded him this wasn’t the first time he met the Black Patch duo.
Since then, Konstantin has been dropping not-so-subtle hints to Steve about it, especially as Patch continues to try to force Konstantin away from Maggie (Suzanne Rogers).
Days of our Lives spoilers reveal Marlena (Deidre Hall) is worried about John, and she should be because his The Pawn problem isn’t going away.
This storyline is just starting, so it’s time for a refresher on The Pawn or, as many Days fans know,...

Chosen as the opening gala feature at the 15th London Korean Film Festival, “Pawn” is a family comedy-drama that in these trying times feels like somewhat of a relief. Speaking in a post-screen Q&a, director Dae Gyu-kang expressed his intent for audiences to walk away from his sophomore release with a renewed appreciation and re-contextualization of their families. Regardless of whether the film achieves this (spoilers: it’s fine), in light of…well, 2020, the invitation to revel in such seasonal themes – with “Pawn” originally premiering during the month of Chuseok, Aka Korean thanksgiving – is a welcome escape and comfort.

Comedy drama “Samjin Company English Class” tickled up enough laughs to score $2.1 million over its opening weekend. But the wider Korean box office remains range-bound at destructively low levels.
“Samjin,” which tells a tale of three young women determined to improve themselves, and who along the way stumble across the nefarious activities of the company they are working at, accounted for half of the nationwide total. Released on Wednesday, the film finished the weekend with a five-day cumulative of $2.72 million.
Last week’s top film “Voice of Silence” tumbled by 70% to fourth place, earning just $438,000 in its second weekend. Its 11-day cumulative is $2.7 million. Earlier winner, “Pawn” had a $512,000 weekend, enough to bounce up to second place, and to increase its cumulative to $12.0 million after a month on release.
But with the Chuseok holidays fading into the past, the Korean cinema business has now been stuck in the $3-4 million range for three successive weeks.

The theatrical cinema market in South Korea is just about strong enough to sustain a trickle of new release titles, but its continuing weakness points to growing problems in store. Ticket prices are set to be raised to help ease operators’ losses.
New-release crime drama, “Voice of Silence” topped the Korean box office with a quiet $1.47 million score over the weekend, according to data from the Korean Film Council’s Kobis system. With that lowly score, “Silence” accounted for 45% of the $3.04 million nationwide weekend aggregate.
Released by New on Thursday, for a cumulative total is $1.73 million, the film features two men whose job is to clean up crime scenes. The story develops a growing friendship between one of the men who cannot speak and a kidnapped girl who is left in their charge.
“Voice” eased aside “Pawn” which had topped the chart for the two previous weekends, including the busy Chuseok (Korean thanksgiving) weekend.

Claire Danes has a new “Homeland” underling — and she’ll probably want to keep an eye on this one. The Showtime drama just locked recurring “Suits” actor Max Beesley for one episode. He’ll play Mike Brown, an ex-Royal Marine turned private military contractor. Brown is described as smart, but he is not entirely comfortable working under Carrie Mathison (Danes). Beesley is best known for a variety of roles on British TV including “Hotel Babylon,” “Mad Dogs,” “Ordinary Lies” and “Survivors.” Film-wise, he was a co-lead with Mariah Carey in “Glitter,” and could also be seen in “The Emperor’s Wife” and “Pawn.

We told you recently that comics publisher Idw had created a production company to develop projects based on their comics. Today they announced one of those projects, and it sounds like it could be pretty great. It’s a TV series based on actor Michael Chiklis‘s (No Ordinary Family, The Shield) comic series Pantheon, about Greek gods in the modern day:
Idw Entertainment To Develop And Produce Michael Chiklis’s Pantheon
The Story of Greek Gods Resurfacing In Present Day
San Diego, CA (November 21, 2013) – Michael Chiklis has joined forces with Idw Entertainment to develop and produce his comic series Pantheon as a new scripted live-action television series. Idw Entertainment will fund the development of the project and will be co-produced with Circle of Confusion.

Here's an interesting one for Bautista fans. As the former pro-wrestler's profile begins to grow after roles in Riddick and, of course, Guardians Of The Galaxy; we're hearing that his next movie project might well be a zombie flick, written by Jon Lee Brody (Pawn, Star Trek Into Darkness) and mixed martial artist turned actor Cung le (The Man With The Iron Fists, Tekken) who also looks set to act in the movie. Word is that the script has being doing the rounds and has finally found a home, and that Dave Bautista may have committed to star..though we can't confirm this at the moment and have no info on the character he'd play. Unfortunately all we can reveal about the actual movie itself is that it'll be a new take on the zombie genre, incorporating martial arts into the undead carnage. So not too much to go on...

British actor, musician, Maxton Gig “Max” Beesley, Jr’s destiny as an actor was firmly set when his mom was inspired by American, Academy Award® winning actor Gig Young, in choosing her son’s middle name. The last time I saw Marton Csokas was 2011s The Debt. The last thing you might have seen him in was Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter unless you saw Pawn. The only beef I have with him is 2005s Aeon Flux. To be fair, that was a hell of a thing to adapt to the big screen and while the animated series is one of my favorites it just was not destined for life beyond MTV's Liquid Television. But my beef lies in the fact that he was in no way, shape or form Trevor Goodchild. If anything, he should...

With CBS airing Under the Dome this summer, and Kimberly Peirce.s Carrie remake coming in October, it will already be a good year for Stephen King fans. And that.s not even taking into account all of the other adaptations that have been announced over the last few weeks. One of the longer-gestating projects is Peter Askin.s take on King.s A Good Marriage, news on which was strangely absent after Joan Allen (The Bourne Legacy) signed on to the cast last year. That is until last week, when Anthony Lapaglia (Without a Trace) was added as her devious husband. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Avatar.s Stephen Lang has joined the indie film, adding one more role to his already overloaded slate. The Terra Nova star was last seen in David A. Armstrong.s ensemble crime thriller Pawn, and will be seen all over the place...

So a cop walks into an all night diner…No, this isn’t the beginning of a tired joke, this is how the new direct-to-video crime thriller “Pawn” kicks off. Said cop, played by Forest Whitaker, walks smack into the middle of an armed robbery. From this simple set up spools out a twisted web of story threads, layered narrative, and constantly shifting points of view. Though the film starts off strong—not great, but solid—it comes off the rails not far down the line. “Pawn” is one of those movies where you’ve heard of almost everyone in the cast, but never even heard mention of the film. Beyond Whitaker, the credits include Michael Chiklis (“The Shield”), Ray Liotta (“Goodfellas”), Common (“Hell on Wheels”), and actors from “Twilight,” “Gossip Girl,” and many more. Still, despite all the familiar faces, it never adds up to much. One of the...

British actor and musician Max Beesley (Hotel Babylon) has landed a major recurring role on the upcoming third season of USA Network’s Suits, which premieres July 16. He will play Stephen Huntley, Edward Darby’s (recurring guest star Conleth Hill) charismatic right-hand man and Harvey’s (Gabriel Macht) British counterpart, who arrives in the New York office following the merger. The existence of two Harveys will complicate the already precarious personal dynamics at Pearson/Darby. Beesley, repped by Apa, Untitled and UK’s Independent Talent, co-stars in indie Pawn and in the UK series Mad Dogs. Erika Alexander will recur on the new AMC series Low Winter Sun, about the aftermath of a cop murder by fellow Detroit detective Frank Agnew (Mark Strong). Alexander will play Louise “Lc” Cullen, a strong and intimidating cop who is matter-of-fact and straightforward in everything she does. When Internal Affairs conducts a corrupt investigation in her department,...

These days, budgets can be pared down thanks to digital photography, letting producers focus more on cast and story, which often means we get some interesting takes on the standard genres. For example, a bungled robbery has been done time and again. But in the newly released Pawn, out today from Anchor Bay, we get an interesting set of characters.
A small group of would-be thieves hit a diner and are frustrated by discovering a dummy safe and decide to wait. Bit by bit, we learn more about the characters as the hours tick down to midnight when the time-locked safe, containing the diner’s cash, will open. We’re given some interesting narrative structure added by superb performances by a familiar cast led by Michael Chiklis. Chiklis is “The Brit”, who leads the gang and largely interacts with the diner’s owner

Pawn -- starring Michael Chiklis, Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta and Sean Faris -- opens with a seemingly innocent scenario: a cop makes his standard, mid-shift diner stop to grab some grub. But that's when anything resembling normalcy, both on-screen and in the script, evaporates as a series of double crosses and hidden agendas come to light, making the new-to-dvd thriller a nifty little surprise.
ETonline caught up with Faris to talk about his role as reformed (?) convict Nick in the movie, and how he's been adjusting to the mystery surrounding his new Pretty Little Liars character, Detective Holbrook!

Sean Faris: It took me about 15 minutes to realize that what I was reading wasn't exactly how things were playing out. The writer did a great job of taking you down a path and making you think this is where the story...

Never heard of the movie Pawn? Don't be surprised - it's a mostly straight-to-Blu-ray movie (with a small number of theater screenings) from first time director David A. Armstrong. owever, it's also one of the more surprisingly entertaining independent films I've seen in a while. Boasting a great cast and an unconventional script from Jerome Anthony White, Pawn is far better than you will expect, and the less you know about the film going in, the better.
Pawn might be easily described as a crime story told in non-linear fashion, but those are a dime a dozen these days after the success of Pulp Fiction.

Pawn is an overplotted, low-expectations hostage drama that manages to work up a fair share of suspense despite some ridiculous plot holes. It opens with cop Forest Whitaker entering a diner just before midnight and quickly realizing all the employees and customers are on edge. Turns out he’s walked into the middle of a hostage situation. An armed robber named Derrick (Michael Chiklis) and his two accomplices are waiting until midnight when the time-locked safe can be opened. I won’t go into much more of the plot but I’ll say no one’s hands are clean and the story has enough double-crosses, ulterior motives, and conspiracies to make your head spin. The chief problem with The Pawn is its lack of originality; this is simply a story which is too familiar to be told in a straightforward manner…. and it’s not. Director David Armstrong and writer...
