"Service stations are everywhere!"
boblipton10 February 2024
That sounds rather daunting. What are they doing? Are they like birds, part of the background, or are they watching you? Given the tone of voice the narrator uses to explain what's going on, it's because you're an idiot who needs to be watched constantly.

Clearly this industrial film is to let you know that service stations are good things, because of the services they office, like filling you gas tank and cleaning off your wind shield. Yet in an era in which there were a lot of service stations around, and everyone who drove a car used them, it seems rather creepy, telling you things you already knew.
