While the Internet of 2010 may justifiably go down as the year of Antoine Dodson, there were many other videos out there that deserved equal levels of oversaturation. Here are a few deeper cuts of the viral video soundtrack that was 2010—videos that personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing more of in 2011! Weird: The Al Yankovic Story My favorite video of the year had the perfect mix of celebrities, spoofs, being “topical” and just downright funny! Thumbs up to Eric Appel and Aaron Paul for pulling off this production. TBS may have turned Eric’s “Undercover Karaoke” viral into a TV Show, but “Weird” is the one that personally, I’d pay to see full-length. Halloween Outfits for Girly Children Many friends and colleagues I shared this Halloween clip with thought it was real. Which worries me on two levels—that people could believe such a story would make it on the morning news,...

The Spider-Man musical punchlines have not yet subsided, and I doubt they will before 2010 ends at this rate. "Break a leg" references and Green Goblin involvement behind the scenes have been the most popular choices today.
Also trending today was Lindsay Lohan after a Betty Ford Center employee accused the actress of battery and was subsequently fired for sharing confidential information with the press. Scope out some reactions after the jump, along with an update on what Russell Brand did with his new 3-D TV.

Some Twitter-Wood citizens were shocked after the organization WikiLeaks decided to release U.S. diplomatic cables that they'd obtained over the weekend. Some responded with a total lack of surprise, such as Michael Ian Black, and at least one man just wanted to know if they were aware of where his keys might be.
A Tuesday earthquake in Japan, meanwhile, startled people as well. Olivia Wilde has a theory about why it occurred that you probably hadn't considered, while Tom Felton didn't appear to have experienced an interruption during his grocery shopping because of the quake. Find out what he was looking at in Tokyo after the jump, as well as what Rose McGowan thought of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," as well as how "Weird" Al Yankovic sees himself.

Still undecided about whether or not to got see "Morning Glory"? Richard Kelly's micro-review today may help you make up your mind. As for whether or not you should check out the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade next week, Miranda Cosgrove's been encouraging her followers to watch; but she is a little biased.

No matter who they're supporting, most of the faces in the Twitter-Wood feed discussing elections in the U.S. today just want you to get out and vote. Some expressed stronger recommendations, though, such as Sylvester Stallone, who used "The Manchurian Candidate" to help illustrate his point.

The "Red" premiere must have been a lively event, judging from the Twitter pics that showed up last night. By definition, this is a trailer. But honestly, this is a teaser. A teaser in the sense that a movie such as this will never exist, though there will be plenty of less-compelling biopics in our near future. I am not sure pop culture, never mind the entire world, appreciates the effect and everlasting nature of parody-genius “Weird Al” Yankovic, but this fake trailer is for those who do. And while I do love Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, I wish that the parody-music biopic concept were left open for a movie such as this: a brilliant songwriter whose legacy is built on destroying and then surpassing those that currently dominate the face of pop music.
