Amy being attracted to Zack and her working with Sheldon on figure it out was a pretty fun story. They had a lot of great moments, I especially liked her confronting Sheldon about being jealous and him taking brain slices instead of his sashimi. Her conversation with Zack where she changed her mind was also really well written. I think though my favorite part was Howard and Raj fighting for who will be a superhero without even touching each other. That scene was just hilarious.

A Change in Amy
Hitchcoc9 October 2021
The main focus of this episode is Amy's realization that she has natural human urges. She knows this when she meets Penny's vacuous friend Zach. She and Sheldon run through all the possibilities for her feelings with only one possibility. Of course, Sheldon is bewildered. Not the best episode but some good moments. The sidekick wrestling match between Raj and Howard got a bit tired.
Interesting direction for Amy

The whole cast is on all cylinders in "The Alien Parasite Hypothesis" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
tavm4 October 2011
In this last season ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Howard and Raj are having an argument about which of them would be the superhero and which would be the sidekick if some radioactive thing happened to either of them. So Leonard observes them trying to wrestle. I say trying because neither have even touched each other for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, Penny, Bernadette, and Amy are at a bar when an ex-boyfriend of Penny's shows up. Amy suddenly has an urge that makes her go "hoo". When she tells Sheldon about it, he figures it out what she has and tells her to do like Mr. Spock and suppress it. That doesn't seem to help. I'll stop right there and just say how really hilarious the whole episode is. So on that note, "The Alien Parasite Hypotheses" is an excellent episode of "The Big Bang Theory".
73 is best number!

Warning: Spoilers
The only reason why I am writing review of a 21 minute episode is because it's very special to me. Sheldon proposes a topic to discuss socially amongst friends. He continues in spite of negligence of friends in comedic manner and ends his conversation. The topic of discussion is number 73. How it is prime number at 21st position and its opposite i.e. the number with replaced digits is a prime at 12th position i.e. 37. He further explains it's a palindrome as well. I would like to add here is 73 is an emirp, meaning that the reverse of 73, that is, 37, is also a prime number. 73 is a star number. 73 in base 36 number conversion is 21. The number 21 has prime factors 7 and 3. The number 21 in binary is 10101; 7 in binary is 111, 3 in binary is 11, and seventy-three in binary is 1001001.
Thus my friends I would really like u to watch this episode and enjoy!

Step forward Mayim Bialik as Amy as the best thing about this episode. I've instantly warmed to this character, which is more than I can say about Bernadette.
She is great here, and the ongoing relationship between her and Sheldon is a pleasure to watch, and each "hoo" she makes is very funny indeed.
The same can't be said for the B plot involving Howard and Raj, which feels very stretched and doesn't amount to very much in the end either. It's just an excuse to put them both in wrestling costumes and hope that that will somehow bolster things.
Poor old Leonard is a bit adrift at this point too.

Not their best

Full disclosure--I really dislike the character of Amy Farrah Fowler. While the guys are nerdy, but funny, she is just weird and not funny. And why are the women on this show with brains (with the exception of Bernadette) purposely made to look homely and expressionless? In this episode Amy veers away from her usual lesbian leaning commentary when she becomes attracted to one of Penny's old boyfriends. Of course, she can't figure out "what's wrong" and why she feels the way she does. Is she sick? She and Sheldon try to diagnose her problem--hence the title.
Meanwhile Wolowitz and Koothrappali are in a debate as to which of them would be the hero vs. the sidekick if they got super powers. Yeah--that's it. It's very disappointing and has none of the usual clever banter.
