His worst episode by far
kdnor201111 January 2012
I love the Nostalgia Critic, he's funny, he brings up good points, and Doug Walker seems like he is having a blast making these videos and may he continue making them. However not every episode has been great. Junior had one good joke and the rest was just boring. But by far his worst review was his review of the television series, "Full House." Now you may be thinking that the reason I hate this review is because I love the show. Well that is part of the reason. But I like both the movie's Godzilla and Twister, and his reviews of those movies were great. He reviewed Independence Day, one of my favorite films of all time, and it was still a good review.

No the reason I dislike this episode is because it is not funny. Not once did I laugh, and I almost always was frowning, I never even smiled. The cameos felt forced and unneeded. The dreaming and waking up to the Olsen Twins joke went on too long, and there weren't many good points other than, "this character sucks," "this would never happen in real life," and "this show is the worst." The only time I remember smiling was the period joke, I will admit that was an OK joke, but it isn't worth the rest of the review.

Doug I love ya but we all have to have at least one bad review, and this is your worst.

I Love The Nostalgia Critic but I'm sorry I Hate Hate Hated This Review
GravityLoudHouseLover130 September 2017
Hello Everybody I'm GravityLoudhouseLover1 & Today I'm Reviewing The Nostalgia Critic's Review on Full House. I'm Really Not a Fan of this review because I Love Full House it was Part of My Childhood & The Critic was way too harsh on a show that's little Corny & Cheesy but I still love it. Anyway The Critic says that no one watched the show but I watched it & a lot of people watched it. I also found the review to Not be Funny and The ending were The Critic thought The Olsen Twins were Aliens was Stupid and Dumb. I do Love the Nostalgia Critic and I Respect him as a Person But I'm Sorry I Hate Hate Hated this review & I am not gonna watch this review ever again. 1/10

Did he actually WATCH the show????
eragonbookfan13 January 2014
One thing clear, I like the Nostalgia Critic. I call him a "guilty pleasure". lol I don't like vulgar language & sick jokes, but the NC does manage to make them funny once in a while. But here, it's an exception. I like him not because I always agree with him, but it's always hilarious to watch his reactions to things!

But with that out of the way, the Nostalgia Critic crossed the line in this episode, & I call this episode of his worst! It's quite obvious Doug never really WATCHED "Full House". From the looks of his episodes, he's including clips from only the FIRST and LAST seasons!!! ...what the heck?

Yo, I've JUST recently started watching FULL HOUSE, and I'm having a blast! I love it! Actually, I do remember seeing some clips of the show from when I was little in our family living room, but they were dubbed in Japanese. So it didn't leave MUCH of an impression on my childhood, except though people around me kept talking about it.

Exclusively, Doug says "it was never funny", but there HAVE been a lot of times I've laughed! He says it's got "bad acting", but everyone in the show really seems to be trying, and often times do a good job. He says Joey and Jesse are "not cool and not funny" - i don't know. Jesse seems cool enough. And Joey is pretty creative in his comedian moments. And I LIKE mullets. Also, the Critic says the last episode is where the "Olsen twins were shown on-screen together for the first time" - that's NOT true! Through the whole series, the Twins were shown together a total of FOUR times! I know because I've been WATCHING it, and the IMDb Trivia says so, too. I'm surprised he didn't mention this in one of his "Top 11 Nostalgic F-Ups"...

Look, Critic! Chill out. Either correct your mistakes & re-release the review, OR just take it down all together. Something tells me you haven't a CLUE what this show was about. Who WOULDN'T want a taste of "non-threatening innocence" once in a while??? This show was great, because it touches on a lot of problems & issues I'm sure we've ALL been through, and the lesson to learn from each episode, how a family can grow closer together, how to keep growing the right way to be mature, and always caring, loving, & BEING there for one another. So wonderful.

And who cares if Bob Saget is not acting how he really is!??? As far as I know, he seems like a horrible person with his bland, sick stand-up comedy; all he just says is "f this, f that, sex-joke this, sex-joke that, etc" Danny Tanner, his character, should have TAUGHT him a few things, maybe even changed his whole personality & made him a better person. lol I do love Bob Saget, especially because he's Jewish, and I have a soft spot for Jewish people (don't need to really at all explain WHY.) (HINT: the Holocaust)

If there's one downside to this show, I'd say Kimmy Gibbler was kind of annoying. But let's not forget that SUPER-Awesome opening theme "Every Where You Look"!!! It always puts me in a good mood, and I recommend every family to own this series on DVD!

So there. I love this show! Pity Doug doesn't. I just guess he hasn't seen it right. Laters.
