Breath of Fresh Air

After years of struggling to get a show on TV, (including Adult Swim rejecting Hellbenders), psychicpebbles has finally debuted an adult animated show called "Smiling Friends" which has a hilarious premise with the unique and interesting art style that Zack is known for. The first episode was really fun with both the A and B plots being interesting to watch. Mike from Red Letter Media playing Desmond was a hilarious touch and shows how much YouTube culture is integrated into this show. Really excited to see where this show goes, most interesting adult animated cartoon i've seen in a while. Good job Zack! Can I suck your wiener please?

Everything we could have wanted after the pilot and more

Before watching this, I was a bit worried that extending the beautiful insanity of "Smiling Friends" into a show would compromise the artistic integrity of Zack and Michael's creative vision, but I've never been more happy to be wrong.

In eleven minutes, we're treated to an absolutely scathing critique of washed-up stars trying to reclaim their past successes and executive interference all while being every bit as hilarious and ridiculous as the pilot that came out nearly two years ago. In a way it's an evolution of the best parts of both Tex Avery's MGM shorts and early Family Guy, but tailor-made for the 21st century. It's all brilliant, deranged stuff and now I'm officially excited for whatever glorious nonsense Pim and Charlie get into next!

The perfect pilot

Does a great job of presenting its main characters and world. Funny cast, fun animation. Fun and suiting music. I'm glad this got the attention it deserves.
