It's D-List Celebrity Big Brother meets The simple life and it's actually not that bad. Apart from the fact that the cast is no strangers to cameras which makes it a little bit predictable, it's somewhat entertaining and the drama is big!!!

Unfortunate

It is unfortunate when a couple people can destroy a show. I realize this is a reality show but it became so annoying because of Harry and Ebie (mostly Harry) that we won't continue to watch it. (last episode watched was E6). I would be really surprised if there will be more seasons because of this train wreck. Great job by the rest of the cast.
Home On The Range

The offspring of celebrities work on a Colorado ranch for a month, learning some new skills, and perhaps learning something about their own capabilities.
If you remember "The Simple Life", you have an idea where this series is going; but this show is more serious than the fish-out-of-water fluff that featured Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. The eight participants on this ranch perform actual ranch duties, although some of them are lightweights.
Because these "kids" have lived lives of privilege, this experience is outside their wheelhouse. They live in a bunkhouse that is quite nice, sharing a community space that requires them to interact. We see their anxieties, their phobias, their prejudices. It's like "Real World", but far from the city.
Most of the participants are likable, so you want to see them succeed. But their primary obstacles come from within their own personalities.

Over dressed & pampered LA 'celebrity' offspring

Over dressed & pampered LA 'celebrity' offspring. None have ridden a horse or been near horses. They should at least watch Yellowstone. Lawrence can at least hype cook a hamburger patty. Their parents have failed in some aspects.
Relatively Stupid

Spoiled, privileged, entitled kids whining whilst shampooing sheep in designer clothing on a ranch. That's it...that's the show in a nutshell. This was worse than The Simple Life, and that was pretty terrible. Don't even waste your time.

I'm enjoying this much more than I expected

It's light fluff, and yes, kind of dumb.. but I really enjoy watching these "kids" living outside their box and genuinely enjoy watching them succeed ! I also appreciate that the show isn't throwing in lots of false drama.
Ebie Why?

Absolute Rubbish

Relatively chaotic.

It's watchable but it's also very obviously overly scripted. Most celebrities parents like Pat Benetar, momma Hasselhoff, mamma Gunn and Martin Lawrence can be proud of their children. Thornton and Parker Jr should be ashamed for raising straight up bully offspring. And Thornton's son, Harry is a straight up sociopath and probable alcoholic. O'Neil pusses out and Ebie is very intriguing but overall useless. Despite every single one of them thinking they have talent are in touch with doing hard work and making their own paths, the reality of this delusion is proven over and over that they all in fact coattail riders. This was their legacy and there is no way around it so just accept it and stop denying it. Sadly it's mostly fabricated drama and their boring us over and over with their illusions they are who they are because of their own hard work. Nice try. No buy.
