  Dotty : [suddenly appears]  Uh-huh.

  Larry : Dotty!

  Dotty : I know what you're thinking and you're wrong.

  Larry : I am, huh?

  Dotty : I have a very good reason for being here.

  D.D. : I can't wait to hear this one.

  [Dotty pulls out the nugget that was sent to her] 

  Dotty : This is real gold.

  Larry : So?

  Dotty : So I was afraid somebody might steal it.

  Larry : So you brought it down here where we could all keep an eye on it?

  Dotty : That's right.

  Pepper : Oh, boy.

  Dotty : You sure are smart, Lar.

  D.D. : I think she did it again.

• [Larry and D.D. are attempting to eat some sandwiches before their picnic] 

  D.D. : Larry, if Pepper ever finds out...

  Larry : How's she gonna know? Take one, they're delicious.

  [Wimper comes outside, notices that Larry and D.D. are about to eat the sandwiches, and runs back inside] 

  Pepper : Potato salad.

  Dotty : Check.

  [Wimper runs to the girls barking] 

  Dotty : The guys? What are they doing?

  [Wimper barks and bites his paw, telling that the boys are outside attempting to eat] 

  Pepper : Oh, they are, are they?

  [Outside, Larry and D.D. are getting ready to bite their sandwiches] 

  Pepper : KNOCK IT OFF, YOU GUYS, RIGHT NOW!

  Larry : Oh, wow! She can see through walls!

  D.D. : I told you she was a witch.

• [after a rock falls] 

  Pepper : What was that?

  Larry : Just a rock falling. Quit worrying, Pepper. I doubt if anyone's been here since the Gold Rush Days.

  D.D. : And anyone that old would be a skeleton by now.

  Pepper : D.D., one more word out of you...

• Dotty : Well, I hate to disappoint you, but this nugget is iron pyrite.

  D.D. : You mean it's not gold?

  Dotty : It's called fool's gold.

  Pepper : Well, the right guy found it.

  D.D. : Pepper!

• [a hooded man is following Pepper and D.D. and steps on a rock] 

  Pepper : That was a falling rock, right?

  D.D. : Right.

  Pepper : How come I don't believe you?

  D.D. : When I count three, we turn around and look, okay?

  Pepper : Okay.

  D.D. : One. Two. Three!

  [Pepper and D.D. turn around, see the hooded man, and run for their lives]
