For this challenge the designers take old brides maids dresses and design a new modern look out of it.
What a pleasure was it to watch! The hatred towards Michael C. is ridiculous. I see him design beautiful clothes and be a nice person. And I believe that this is the case as Casanova said that he was nice as well. Michael C. and Casanova are the ones I like the most as people now. And I must say as some of the best designers there as well.
Funny how Christopher said Gretchen has no mean bone in her body. She is full of meanness. The only one who would win against her in being evil and nasty is Ivy. I don't buy the rumor that Michael C. was telling not to vote for her. Maybe it didn't get into her little head that her outfit was BORING. The only reason she didn't end up at the bottom 3 was because unfortunately there were worse outfits. Actually I wonder if she started this rumor to begin with to start more hate for Michael C. And when he told her in the working room that it isn't true, Gretchen then started gossipping with others on why would anyone say it in front of others. well, because your rat of a friend went and talked about it with everyone. He would need to protect his reputation. If one would ask why would she start this rumor, then my only guess is jealousy. Same with Valerie. She said something in the beginning of the episode how she doesn't understand how he is still there. well, I don't remember him ever being at the bottom and he won. Valerie didn't and Ivy barely made it through the audition episode (now I wish she didn't). Ugly jealousy in these people.
I loved of course that Michael C won and got immunity! I also love how the judges when talking to each other said how great his dress was made, not just design but work while everyone was trying to throw him under the bus and say he can't do anything. I was first sad that neither Gretchen nor Ivy were there to hear the praise for his dress or hear that he won. But observing Valerie when he was getting praised after her dress got a deserved critique was fun. Just as to see the upset faces of theirs in the back room both when he first came in and then as the winner. Sore losers with no decency in them! Go Michael C! You can make it! And while I feel bad for him as it might be hard to deal with all that hate, I hope he will at least have a nice company in Casanova.
I actually thought Michael B would go. But Peaches was not the best design either. Too bad, I liked her. One of the decent people. I am glad she got the o called second chance at 50. And I looked at her site. actually I was impressed as her designs after the show look so much better now.
