The story is not digestible. Acting by all is just an average. End is not interesting. Just a time pass not interesting. Court scene might have added more suspense in the story and in the end. The end is not here. What happens next is more rewarding. The other angle of murder is not investigated and crime is not proved. How can a person be guilty without court proceedings? This is just an average extra marital relationship story but the end is without any substance. The solution leaves you half satisfied. You want to explore more. You feel pity for both married man and his girl friend. It's not clear what does the story tell you except an unnecessary end.

First of i wasn't expecting anything from this movie. And yet it proved right after watching this torture.
Thank God the run time was short.
Now lets talk about the movie.
Raveena acted well but fell short on the bogus script provided to her.
So many loopholes in the movie.
1. How come Niru managed to call Lata successfully as the network had issues and she couldn't even call Govind or ambulance.
2. How come Lata reached the Farm house Villa so quickly as she was in another part of city.
3. Why did Lata didn't cared about her mobile and didn't even went back for her phone?
4. Why Govind was sent 40 km one side to pick some pastries. As this was a bad decision considering the rain and weather.
5. How did Ram managed to stay alive all this time. He fell from first floor and apparently hit his head which was bleeding profusely.
6. And how did Ram even fell? The railing was not so low.
7. So apparently when Niru was making coffee, Lata killed her husband. How did she managed to do that in that short period of time. Not to mention she even filled Niru's bag with money. To make her look guilty. And why didn't Niru noticed the bag full of money?
8. Why on earth Niru didn't noticed the whole night that Ram is dead.
9. So apparently Lata ripped her cctv and hard drive and threw in the trash. Why was she not considered a suspect and why the police didn't asked her about it.
10. Lata cut her car's engine wire with a knife. Why did the police didn't asked her anything?
Even the police in Crime patrol is better than the police in this movie.
Yes the atmosphere in the movie was really good. The remote house and the weather was making a good feeling to watch.

FILM Review: One Friday Night streaming on Jio Cinema
Ek Friday night ki kahani hai . A cheating husband Ram ( Milind Soman) & his lover, Nirosha ( Vidhi Chitalia) plan a romantic rendezvous at the former's remote bungalow near Lonavala.
The wife who is a gynaecologist, Lata ( Raveena Tandon) is unaware of this and thinks he is in Nagpur for a business meeting. Ram suffers a freak accident in the midst of their romantic interlude and is badly injured. Unable to get any help in the stormy night, the exasperated Nirosha calls the Lata. Upon reaching the bungalow & understanding what is going on, Lata & Nirosha are left confronting each other in an interesting faceoff. After a while Lata leaves the two lovers and that's when the real fun starts!!
Raveena Tandon has given an excellent performance as a wife who is devastated by her husband's infidelity and yet has to take care of him as a doctor. Milind Soman is sadly wasted. Vidhi's role too had great potential ,but she is unfortunately shown to be too passive. A decent performance though.
Manish Gupta who has given us brilliant films like Rahasya and Section 375 should be commended for trying to steer away from the normal Bollywood cliches & trying something different. The remote villa & the rainy night have been used very effectively. However, the lack of dramatic moments and a somewhat insipid narrative slows the film down.
Though it is a short film of around 90 mins and might seem a bit slow , the unexpected twist in the end makes it worth the watch !!
Going with 2.5/5 for this one ... Adios🙂!!

Keeping in mind raveena and Milind I dared to see this movie still could not get it what they wanted to show it was so much down graded thrill with no acting or expressions from any of these stars ..raveena could had done wonders but she was unexplored and so was Milind..the suspense was so so easy to predict

There is nothing in this movie.
It is very predictable, It has almost no story or worse story, screen play , characters and even music. Dubbing is so bad.
I think film students can do better than this piece of scrap.

I am fan of lead actors but they did very bad.
Milind was never able to act and he will never be.
Over all Raveena is ok actress but she dint do any efforts on this one.

This is a crime thriller movie in which at the end the villain is successful. But I am pretty sure that more complicated cases than this could be solved by the police.
Police may suspect how could a person suddenly missed so many calls after talking on the phone just minutes ago in the middle of the night.
Police could examine the car of murderer, they would find out it traveled last night or not, and examiners could tell that a wire was cut by a knife or broke spontaneously.
How a CCTV camera could disappear along with the hard drive suddenly. CCTV was there could be proved by questioning people.

I watched the whole movie nonstop, it felt like watching the real story, I really liked the work of all the people in this movie like Raveena Tandon, Milind Soman, Vidhi and the Police Inspector and also the work of the director, at least this movie It's great, it's good. One, it is worth watching 2 times, I have shared my feeling after watching the movie, everyone has their own choice, but I think everyone should watch the movie at least once. According to the story, I also liked the location, at least this film is really good, is it good? The movie is well made, I came across the poster on social media and the title was attractive. A quick 90 minutes watch was well worth it. Kept me engrossed.
The cinematography was very sophisticated and made the location look beautiful. The highlight was that this extra marital affair drama was kept very real and non Bollywood. The exchange of words between the 3 lead characters gave the film a very real feel and kudos to the director and writers for that.
The performance by Raveena Tandon was very natural and as an audience you could feel her pain. Milind Soman's performance was a pleasant surprise. The new actress playing the young love interest was very convincing as a vulnerable girl in love. It's a great weekend watch. Would recommend it.

The special thing about this film is that according to the story of this film, the suspense created by the writer of the film (Manish Gupta ji) is commendable.
The director (Manish Gupta ji) has made a good film using minimum locations. Raveena Tandon, Milind Soman and Vidhi Chitalia will be seen in this film.
Like always, Raveena and Milind's performance this time too was very good, while Vidhi Chitalia kept the entire film engaged due to her acting skills.
The camera work and lighting of the film is very good. Coming to the post production, the sound, editing and VFX did a great job. You guys must watch this movie once.

It's a very well directed movie by the acclaimed writer and director, Mr. Manish Gupta.
The location Pawna Lake, where the film has been shot is absolutely stunning. It's damn good, so close to Mumbai. It has been captured beautifully in the film by the cameraman and director.
All the actors acted very well and they were very believable. Great performance by Raveena Tandon & the new girl Vidhi Chitalia.
The relationship complexities which are shown in the film are extremely realistic.
I hope the makers make a sequel to this movie soon, it will be great to watch it.

Director Manish Gupta has once again delivered a masterpiece. The thrilling plot keeps you on the very edge of your seat just from the beginning. It's not very easy to deal with human emotions when there are elements of suspense in a movie but hats off to the director as he has done quite a commendable job.
Milind Soman in Ram and Raveena Tandon as Lata have played their character superbly. It's not that often that we see Raveena in such an avatar. Vidhi as Neeru has also performed remarkably well. All actors are equally good. Film is beautifully shot as well.
I would strongly recommend all film lovers to watch One Friday Night. You would not want to miss it. It's streaming on Jio cinema.

Another masterpiece by manish gupta sir..beautifully directed wonderfully executed story..the narrative takes us through a lot of assumptions and the best part is that it's so unpredictable to figure out that what happens next..amazing performances by raveena tondon,milind soman,and vidhi chitalia.the weather in which the film has been shot is an add on factor for the look of the film..the film kept me wanting to know what is going to happen next..the editing is too crisp without and loose ends..the cinematography is well crafted making you feel that you are in the story..Well done manish sir.

It's really exciting to see a thriller shot in limited locations. The film turns into a great drama where morality plays the main lead. At a point of time the film makes you feel as if it's happening right in front of you. If you are expecting a regular thriller then this might disappoint you but the suspense lies with in the arc of each character. 1st half takes time to build the premise and the 2nd half is gone without blinking eyes. The rainy atmosphere and the location really gives a thrilling touch to the story. If you are aware of director Manish Gupta's previous work then this film is a must watch.

It is a very exciting and must watch film. It is extremely realistic and the audience feels that this unexpected situation can happen to any married woman or married man.
The highlights of this ONE FRIDAY NIGHT.., are the conversations between the 2 women about the man they love.
Director Manish Gupta has done a superb job once again! He is a master of his craft and doesn't let the audience get bored. The camera angles were excellent. The outdoor shots of the location are breathtaking, one feels that you are watching a Hollywood film.
He has been able to extract great performances from the crew and the 3 principal characters played by Raveena Tandon, Milind Soman & new find Vidhi Chitalia.
It's a must watch, don't miss this ONE FRIDAY NIGHT.

I think agar aap crime drama dekhna pasand karte hain to aap ko "one Friday Night" iss Film ko zaroor dekhna chahiye kiyunki iss Film mein suspense ki gripping bahut hi mazboot hai jo ham aur aapko ant tak hilne ka mauka nhi deti hai.
