WOW! MIND-BLOWING ANIMATION

I don't really do reviews on Demon Slayer, but this episode left me speechless. The episode had some of the GREATEST animation sequences I have seen in any anime. The style and colors just popped out from the screen. I mean WOW.

I have never seen an anime look like this. Even the dramatic moments and payoff was great. But damm son. That cliffhanger is making me eager to see what happens next. Thank you Ufotable for putting so much hard work and dedication to this amazing episode.

Y'all, this felt like a movie more than the Demon Slayer movie itself! This just shows us that how far Demon Slayer has come. Start to end: Hype! Do I even need to speak about the animation?! The OSTs are so amazing to hear. Voice actors really went all out!! Every moment from this episode is a scene of beauty. Godspeed, Mark awakening, Uzui and Inosuke's flashy comeback; these moments speak for themselves. They, in their individual entirety, are a thing of beautiful. Gyutaro's rage really came through. The parallel between the Kamado Siblings and the Shabana Siblings was beautifully presented through Tanjiro's monologue. I think what Nezuko said is truly under-looked and everyone should learn from it. I did not expect to for Gyutaro to turn into a literal blast of blood sickles. I'm sad that it's ending but grateful for what it is. Last episode, titled: No matter how many lives!, has a runtime of 45 minutes. We will get a look into the siblings past. Looking forward to it!

That being said, it's really sad and annoying considering some people are rating this 1 star without watching the episode. Ufotable is putting their best staff on this episode which includes Shirai(directed episode 19; his long awaited comeback to Demon Slayer), Abe and Kunihiro. Respect their work!

Attack on titan fans support the anime community please rate this what it deserves, honestly this Sunday both episodes of AOT and demon slayer were probably the best in both series. Anyway great episode keep it up fotable!

Bro didnt even watch the epusode and gives 1 star for it, like wtf. I cant belive there are people like that in this whole world, no respect what so ever.

Edit: THIS EPISODE WAS INSANE, my heart started to beat bro this is so epic, now i wait for the next episode which is the last one. Btw, AoT fans just stop.

This episode made me feel like i was watching a movie.. NOT a TV show! Thats how OUTSTANDING the animation was!! The fight looked better than ANYTHING shown to us previously! Ufotable really flexed their budget! Same level as Akaza vs Rengoku... Maybe Even Better? Only time will Tell! I almost wanted to scream along with characters waving my arms like crazy.. THATS how Epic this episode was! Both AOT and DS will break the internet after today!

Can we just watch our shows with peace, literally a 11/10 episode and people are bombing it with 1 star ratings. Honestly give it a break, both shows are fantastic so let's just be happy we are getting these peak shows on the same day.

Bc it is so freaking crazy and beyond great!! The animation, sound and the final fight is crzay like studio is losing their mind I feel so overwhelming for watching this ep. So good!!!!

First this is really sad that anyone would rate this 1 star. I know this is hard for many people to understand but you CAN be a serious fan of many manga and anime, the fact that you are limiting yourself to be a fan of one particular anime is laughable. The quality will attract attention whether it gets 1 star or 100 stars in here (there are tons of underrated movies and series and tons of overrated movies and series in here), but the fact is Demon Slayer has one of the best animations known in Anime history. The fact that the manga ended for both Demon Slayer and AOT and they didn't pull a "The Promised Neverland" on us is a win for the anime community, so maybe stop hate distribution and learn a thing or two from the anime you are watching or manga you are reading.

When I thought it couldn't get better than the last episode it better even better but this episode was so so well done to summarize this episode it was the demon slayer movie x100 i had goosebumps in the whole second half of the episode.. And Shirai san (the one who animated ep 19) thank you, this is the highest standard set for television animation and i dont think any anime ryt now can beat it in terms of animation quality

Before you come and tell I'm a demon slayer stan and all.. I'm a huge aot fan but i don't think this ep was any less better.. Overall aot ep was better only because of it's phenomenal writing and direction, if only aot was not airing right now this wouldve been the talk of the town.

Now I understand why it's at 9.9

What an amazing episode this is. Everything about this episode is just top notch and over the top. The level of animation is simply unreal...definitely done in a way we have never ever seen before for an anime episode. A lot of PPL complain about demon slayers storytelling..but in my own humble opinion not all TV shows need to have a plot twist of a story like AOT..some TV shows can have a simple storyline that will still be accepted by the audience. I really enjoyed this episode and the fact that it's at 9.9 should tell you everything you need to know. Ufotable you are the best and let's hope you continue with this level of quality for the next season, thank you.

Amazing pre-finale

God tier animation, amazing soundtrack, and subperb voice acting. We can feel the desperation of the characters. Just stop on reviewing the episode before it airs and compare it with another anime. We need to stop the toxic fandom tradition.

Animation mindblowing, Story and characters boring and repetitive

Ufotable has done it again with its mind-blowing animation, voice acting and sound design. However, a studio cannot do everything to make a great anime, there needs to be competent story and characters especially in a character driven show and demon slayer just doesn't have it. Firstly, the comedy consists of loud screaming and hitting each other which to me doesn't seem like comedy. To me this isnt that big of a deal when the characters are plausible and realistic (which they are not) The amount of deus ex machima in this single episode is astonishing. Inosuke able to move his organs because he was "raised in the mountains" which even in the anime world isnt good story and just shows the authors lack of talent. Secondly, uzui and tanjiro constantly recover instantly from their fatal wounds and hits taking away instantly from the immersement of the show. Finally, even though the villains (Daki and Guitaro) were by far the best villains, they were one dimensional as most demons are with no real reason for their actions unlike villains such as Askeladd or Bondrewd who like Guitaro are intimidating but they also have an captivating motive. For me this episode gets a 5/5 for animation and a 1/5 for story and characters.

Writing and plot: 1/10.

The demon insulting Tanjiro without sense.

Zenitsu have a new super power from nowhere.

Inosuke and Uzui revive with a garbage argument.

And the demon head rolls is the icing on the cake.

I love this anime, but this is a poor writing arc. Just fireworks and more fireworks.

Honestly I'm running out of words to describe the last few episodes of Demon Slayer. It is now the 5th episode in a row that I feel we are getting top quality episodes and I was having a hard time selecting which one was the best from the all, but honestly in this episode there was a certain moment where I couldn't believe what I was actually looking at, the quality of animation, the music/score...quite everything honestly...has surpassed everything that I've seen so far from this incredible season of this amazing anime.

This episode was amazing, the animation and music and character moments were all soooooo goood. Best episode yet in the show, one of the best anime episodes I've ever seen. AOT was also a 10. That's right, it's possible for both shows to be amazing. Stop 1 star rating everything.

No words honestly. It may be one of the best episode of any anime I've watched. Simply a visual feast through and through. Some sorta deal with the devil was made to make animation this smooth and enjoyable. This whole arc has been above and beyond movie quality.

I'm an AOT and Demon Slayer fan, so quit review bombing both of these fantastic animes. We don't need to fight over any of them, so let's just enjoy both shows and give them the ratings they deserve. All in all, a pretty solid episode.

The only reason I still watch KNY is because of the visuals. The visuals of this episode are quite impressive, but the plot is still very slow and bland. That's why i give 6 stars.

It's been a while since I felt like this trough out a whole episode of anime. It was so good throughout the whole episode, whit amazing animation wonderful fight and emotion.

The plot it still something to improve, but you can never say it lacks in it.

Tell me one thing that was a flaw with this episode ? You just can't

And for the aot fandoms, please grow-up. THIS anime has done nothing to the aot ratings. It's clearly the op and breaking bad fandoms, but you deserve every drop of backlash that are coming your way.

They are just scared cause they haven't seen any other show than aot. But stop with the hating, just a waste of your own time.

This was clearly a 10/10 episode.

This episode is literally a masterpiece. Ufotable really MASTERED the art of animation! Absolutely phenomenal action scenes, a beautiful humanistic theme, and some of the best soundtracks. This should make history!
