In this installment of Kapten Grogg, the captain and his little helper find themselves caught in an air balloon, and cause some havoc with the anchor hanging of it. Like the other Grogg-shorts, it relies less on plot than it does on finding interesting scenarios for the animator to have some fun. As Kapten Grogg and his companion is flying, they stumble upon some women bathing, a volcano erupting, crocodiles being hunted on the Nile river, and more. All of them ending with gags, usually involving their loose-hanging anchor.
While the first installment of Kapten Grogg had some nice designs and animation, this one is less interesting. There are some high points (the balloon hitting a storm), but as far as Kapten Grogg goes, this seems to be one of the less interesting ones.
