David Walliams' Awfully Good
jboothmillard19 April 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This comedy based near documentary style programme sees Little Britain star and comedian David Walliams looking back at archive footage to find the worst examples of ill conceived television, that actually may be acceptable. So he shows us many clips from some well known programmes, adverts, some film clips and more, some that not many people watched, and some people may never have heard of. The idea of the show is to show how bad some television is, that when you look back at it, some of it may actually be good, so the shows may be remembered for the wrong reasons but these reasons may in fact be good to remember. I don't remember much of the Awfully Good TV programme, but I found myself laughing much more at the programme looking at adverts, not just because I recognised one or two of them, the people in them and or course the products, but I was interested to see how bad they could be. I look forward to possibly more programmes like this, looking back on the bad their actually good stuff, maybe feature films or music based stuff and more. Very good!
