Neal McDonough!

Neal McDonough is always a colorful character! I really enjoyed the confrontation and camaraderie in this episode! Fun, exciting & heartwarming.

(Now I'm just trying to reach 150 characters...)

Very Emotional - Well done

Warning: Spoilers
Great episode! Ups and downs throughout. The rivalry between the fire and police was fun and light - rest of it was super emotional

But that scene with the father and son had me in tears! Well done.

The jump the shark episode?

Warning: Spoilers
You really had to go there? The Red vs. Blue ordeal gets played out in every FD based show, and this one went over that fish right from the start. A motor cop ticketing a engine crew trying to remove a dead body from an overpass is text book lack of original thought on the writers part.

Do better.

Abuse of Power, Dumb
ddbmschmidt26 February 2022
Police officer bullies group of fire fighters, desk share worker leaves workstation a pig-sty and thinks that a small container of food is "communal", just inappropriate workplace behaviour.

Don't police have enough issues without ticketing a fire truck during an active rescue?? Towing fire engines? I hope the fire department can charge officers for abuse of power. He's a sergeant, he has superiors, wouldn't they be concerned with this infantile behaviour.

Written by Rob Lowe's son... or else portions of this episode would not have seen the light of day...

Horrible episode Warning: Spoilers
The behavior of the professionals in this episode was so over the top that I could not finish watching. I was beyond irritated with the bullying displayed by the police towards the fire department.

And seriously, why in the world would that stupid 911 operator assume that he could eat any food "found" in the fridge (especially something in a little Tupperware container OBVIOUSLY intended to be a single serving).

What a revolting episode.

Love Neal, hate the script
apd821 July 2023
I am a fan of the original 9-1-1 series, so naturally when 9-1-1: lone star started, I also started watching this series.

The first impression was, well it was different in many ways, well ok not a problem, let me give it a try. There were many good episodes, and many suck episodes. There were many scripts that were not reasonable at all.

This episode in particular, Season 3 Episode 7, though, is idiotic and very immature of every character involved. Probably the producer and the writers tried to make the episode funny, well... you could claim that if it makes your heart at peace.

And in the end, of course, things resolved and they became allies, like what we have seen in many stories for the past 100 years. And I guess the producer and the writers thought that this never gets old. Well, please re-consider that. It is old and not creative.
