They're crushing it again, maybe the best season so far, especially if you include the quibi and movie. Writing is spicy and they're going 100% as seniors in tights. Don't get lost in other people's reviews, it's the same cheese with more age.

They're back and better than ever!

I got a Roku for my mom and we watched Weird, which was great. I saw this on the Originals section and was surprised and not expecting much. I loved the old Reno 911, but so many of those older show revisits, especially changing networks(and especially to a new and relatively obscure one), just fall flat.

I also figured with a smaller network they might not put in the kind of time and effort, because who the hell watches Roku originals?

Thank goodness I was wrong. This season is painfully funny. I find myself laughing out loud multiple times an episode and I'm not really easy to get that reaction from.

Yeah, there's current political humor in there. Yeah they name names! It's funny as heck and they don't hold back. Oh and there's no censorship and you can see really how gruff they get. It is seriously some of their very best work and they pull out jokes and bits that are just so damn clever and instant classics.

There's some great cameos from hilarious and amazing comedians, their public safety commercials are back and they are sharp as ever. I dunno why I was so surprised, but it's good to see veterans come back after a break but in better form than ever before. It's rare.

I absolutely loved the original reno 911 and the movie. The cast of characters like terri. It makes it great because it was a pointless dumb show that made you laugh. The new one went so political it is not funny. The first episode alone has blm, proud boys, and aoc before the credits roll. I wanted the meth smoking roller blading male hooker, not the bs going on the news. Even the actors in the show seem like they are just there for a paycheck, honestly I guess it couldn't have came back the way it was. I guess I will just keep binge watching the classic episodes, if I wanna have a smile on my face.

Not good like the older Reno 911

I loved the Reno 911 from 20 years ago but this new series is not funny. I kept watching one episode after another hoping it would get better but it didn't.

Used to absolutely love this show, have seasons 1-5 on DVD. This was embarrassingly bad, both in its overt philistine political commentary as well as it's almost utter void of laughter. Could not be more disappointed.

I thought "Defunded" was a great concept this show could reboot with. Tons of potential with the insanity our world turned into over/after Covid. There were whole skits where they didn't even offer a facade of an attempt at humor (I.e. Niecy Nash's tv commercial bit. I literally had jaw-dropping experience watching how they destroyed this show in one episode. I rarely right reviews but this reboot was such a travesty I felt compelled share my opinion. RIP. Was a good run while it lasted.
