A microcosm of what's wrong with society today
tsang64825 March 2022
Although it's a fictional show, the stories in it do reflect today's society (to an extent)..

I really wish that people who attended that school board forum get their wish, and have no police presence in that school. Let's see what will result from that.

In Erin/Anthony's story, I find it unfortunate that government resources are spent on investigating how law enforcement treats criminals, instead of what criminals are doing to victims.

Jamie's action in the episode is something I admire. As a visible minority, I wished I had known someone like him growing up. Although I must say that, unlike Filipinos, West Virginians aren't an ethnic group. So making fun of West Virginians wouldn't qualify as "ethnic shaming".

Love the show but.....

Warning: Spoilers
Why has the filming changed? Inside filming is grey. Why?? For those of us with eye issues, it is so hard to see.

Why do the outtside scenes are beautiful but as soon as you get inside it's all fuzzy.

Excellent!

Love this show. My husband and I love Friday nights watching Blue Bloods . Probably the best show on Television , enjoy the family and they keep it real . I think Sunday dinners is something more families should try to have . The world would be soo much better for keeping the family together once a week for family time .

Writers struggling for new plotlines.
dsmoore-216 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A normally compelling show is slowly getting less relevant. Having been to a few school board meetings (and maybe I'm not 'inner' city enough) I can tell you that while some students don't like the increased police presence, all the parents do (and would like more). This seems more like the "defund the police" crowd were given a voice and allowed to experience realty - something they haven't done in the real world. And the entire plotline of the Mom and kid on the run was - well, goofy. You immediately realize the Dad is behind it; it's too transparent, and an insult to the Danny character that the writers let him act so cluelessly. The only good part was seeing Didi Conn again - I always enjoyed her "quirky work" and will settle for a dramatic turn as a crumb.

Dull
coreycitn636 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This has got to be the most boring episode of Blue Bloods this season.

Danny's story was the worst cause it was so predictable with the father intercepting his ex wife's immigration mail so he would get custody of his daughter.

Jamie's story wasn't that bad but his idealism is getting on everyone's nerves with the officers picking on the Filipino officer and the Filipino wanting Jamie to butt out.

Frank, Erin and Anthony's plots is irrelevant cause it was just filler.

As for the episode it is one of the many episodes this season that is boring. Dump the social justice activism. Bring back some action.

Let's win arguments by seeing who can shout the loudest
doujyr6 March 2022
Ten years in and we still have some of the male characters trying to win their arguments by shouting at the tops of their voices and browbeating others in the meetings. The Sid character is a joke. Move on, please.
